yep..it should be studied in a randomized trial. Until then I have no problem with anyone taking anything if they are informed about risks and side effects. The FDA makes a mistake by not letting people take any snake oil treatment they want as long as they indemnify everyone and anyone in the health care system.

Everything depends on how far in debt the US of A, and the rest of the world for that matter, can go before the financial system collapses due to the inability to meet all obligations, including INTEREST on that debt. It wont be long before every tax dollar will go to paying interest, leaving NOTHING for SS, Medicare, Defense, etc. And, if you think low interest rates will save us? At zero, they are predicting Japan.....over 20 years lost to malaise.
