No, not everyone is going to get it if we suppress the growth of the virus, which is what we've been attempting to do with social distancing (and will eventually succeed at doing) and will continue to do by testing millions daily and contract tracing.
By doing so, we will prevent the majority of people from getting it until a vaccine comes out next Spring.
And, no, first amendment rights only apply to people with respect to the government, not private enterprises or other people. So shut the fuck up.

The truth of the matter is everybody including the CDC are just making educated guesses about this virus at this point in time. Since they have mostly educated guesses the government at both the state and federal levels are generally following the time proven idea that if you isolate everybody now referred to as social distancing the pandemic will stop spreading as rapidly and will not overwhelm the hospital system.
In the attached blog started on April 6th Night-Rider posted a link to the model being used by Fauci as well as many others to guide the response to this virus. At the time night Rider posted the model the assumption was there would be 81,000 dead in the first wave of the disease by August 4th and there was also a note in FAQ that stated they expected only 3% of the population would have immunity to the virus by August 4th. If you extrapolate the numbers at the time you get a death rate of .75%.
If you look at the updated version of the model they have no lowered the expected death rate to around 69,000 but also removed the note stating that they only expected 3% of the population to show immunity by August 4th.
If by August 4th they can actually establish that only 11 million have immunity and 81,000 have died then they can pat themselves on the back because 81,000 is a lot better than 2.55 million. However if they find that on August 4th 81,000 have died and 100 million have immunity to the virus they will have shut the entire country down for a disease with a lower death rate than the flu.
Perhaps we will find out the truth in a few weeks but it seems silly to keep debating guesstimated numbers.

The attached is a study conducted in Santa Clara that seems to indicate a lot more people might have already been infected with the corona virus than previously thought.
"If 50 times more people have had the infection, the death rate could drop by that same factor, putting it somewhere between little worse than the flu to twice as bad as the flue in terms of case fatality rate," rate Bhattacharya said.

There is also a study of pregnant women who've given birth in NYC being done by the New England Journal of Medicine and they're finding the same evidence of many times more people being asymptomatically infected by the virus than assumed in the models.
Hence the dramatic changes in real numbers vs. "modeled" numbers

Not true. Ferguson and Imperial College PREDICTED in their "models" exactly this scenario of 2-4% of the population having COVID-19 by now. Most wouldn't die.
Hell, my model predicts 20% would be infected by now, which is an overestimation for sure.

I was worried about what COVID-19 would do to Kat. But it turns out that it didn't do anything to her. Fifty percent of people who get COVID-19 are asymptomatic. Almost all pregnant women who get COVID-19 show no symptoms. It is almost certain that she was exposed to COVID-19 over the past two months. And at this point it is almost certain that she is immune to COVID-19. It looks like Kat is all good in the hood. Kat should get an antibody test as soon as possible to confirm it, but at this point it is highly likely that Kat can do what ever she wants to do without worrying about COVID-19.
