What if you are Transgender?

I posted the following on another blog....
There is NO way to verify those ballots....It is bad enough that anyone does a mail in ballot but we do need some to respond to allowing military personnel to vote when gone, for people in temporary assignment out of state, older people who are confined to rest homes, etc.
But to have every person do a mail in.....when a postal person knows when the ballots are going out, what would keep them from taking a few thousand and vote themselves.....not a damn thing......Or I could go door to door and offer a person $5 for their ballot and then send in hundreds of ballots with my vote.....
Or a person could register in multiple counties and get multiple ballots.....just have to give a friend's address.....
So many problems and no way to verify.....
We finally made it into the 20th Century! Woohoo. Maybe we could move into this century and vote online. Maybe I'm asking too much.
And how do we verify the vote?
Ladies, Vote by Male. Because you're far too hysterical to vote by Yourselves.
He's trying to guarantee the ability to illegally stuff the ballot box and get ridiculous bond measures passed that knowledgable voters would otherwise turn down.
It's more nonsense piled on top of nonsense.
"CA is now a vote by mail state"
No its NOT!
Newsome signed the order that gives all California residents the ability to vote by mail but you can still go to your polling place and vote there in Nov.
We can social distance waiting to vote. Everyone wears a mask, maybe even wear gloves....disinfect the voting machines....
I'm sorry, if people are too fucking lazy to get to their polling site, they probably shouldn't be deciding the fate of taxes, elected officials, etc.
Right dude, of course I will go to the polls as will more than 75% of people....
but newsom has now allowed the election to be wide open to fraudulous ballot gathering.
And how will we know if a person voted by mail AND in person?????
The voting by mail is so seniors or disable that do want to go out can vote by mail.
People vote by mail in every election anyway absentee.
But it appears that Newsom is now pushing more for the mail in ballots. Yes, we have always had a small percentage of military, elderly, disabled before...but seems like there is a push for mail in to be the norm......
You can up with all kinds of isolated reasons why you think this is "good" but the increased ability for fraud remains. And this state will pass all kinds of money making measures to our amazement.
Do you ever wonder how it is we couldnt even repeal the gas tax?
Again people vote by mail in every election anyway absentee. Have been for years.
We need to vote by phone...
"Again people vote by mail in every election anyway absentee. Have been for years."
Then what exactly is the new added benefit here?
Asking for a friend...
The benefit is if you're old ass doesn't want to go out and stand in line and be around people you can any CA resident can vote by mail.
Before, a registered voter had to REQUEST a mail in ballot. So the numbers were typically fairly small.
Now the Governor is going to spend millions over time to send a mail in ballot for EVERY voter for EVERY election.
I can see jackrabbit33 skitzo profile personalities trying to vote multiple times lol
Ah.. cornered with logic dude resorts to reflective off topic statements... just another day on HX
Dude you posted 3 times about voting by mail.
Its clear what the benefits are and why it being done.
How many millions will be spent on printing and mailing all those ballots....and the U.S. Postal Service will deliver the ballots without needing postage, so when that gets out, many people won't put a stamp on their ballot and that will be an additional cost.....our postage will eventually go up even more.
I'm personally glad I can mail in my vote, especially if COVID-19 is still around by November, which it will be.
Oh, God Jazz with the Republican talking points. Never digresses...
Nightrider....just tell me how much money this will all cost....
Newsom just said we will be at a nearly $60 billion shortfall...and he is going to spend millions on mailing ballots to every registered voter in the state, even people who have not voted in years.....
And most of those people will vote in person anyway.....seems like a total waste of money and if a person wants an 'absentee ballot' they can request one currently.....
And no one is telling us how the State keeps people from voting by mail and in person and what about someone who somehow secures dozens or hundreds of ballots.
Heck, all the left got their panties in a bunch thinking the Russians screwed with our elections....this is opening up a whole raft of potential ballot fraud issues.
We've had voting by mail for years, and how many issues have there been?
More fear-mongering by Republican talking points. They just want to suppress the vote.
It's obvious that there is virtually no positive difference between existing absintee voting and this new mail in system.
The points against are related to increased chances of fraud. That's all.

From the Economist:
"If Americans had to choose between a slightly increased risk of electoral fraud or cancelling the elections altogether, it would be a straightforward decision. But they don’t. States such as Oregon and Colorado, which allow everyone to vote by mail in every election, have developed sophisticated techniques, which make fraud even more unlikely.
In Colorado, for example, voters can track their ballots through each stage of the electoral process, opting to receive a text message when their ballot is mailed, when it is returned, and when it has been counted. Oregon reckons that it has dispatched 100m postal ballots since 2000, and seen fewer than a dozen cases of electoral fraud.
The second argument against postal voting—that it is supposedly better for Democrats—ought not to matter. Both parties should want as many people as possible to participate in their democracy. Politically, though, it does—because if Republicans think that voting by mail will disadvantage them, they will block federal efforts to fund it, or state-level initiatives to introduce it.
Fortunately the suspicion that postal voting is a Democratic plot is unfounded, too. The most comprehensive recent study of the political effects of introducing voting by mail, which comes from academics at Stanford, compared results from elections as absentee voting was rolled out across the states that now use it, between 1996 and 2018. It found that the reform increased turnout but did not benefit either party disproportionately."
But I guess since academics are saying this, they need to be discredited like Coronavirus modelers are being now...

Many states have been doing it for years with no complaints or challenges. It is not rocket science to make it safe. As of the end of August, 17 deaths in Wisconsin due to voting at polling stations.

^ During the election in 2018 many voters received mail in ballots in Orange County. I live in a small apt.complex and there are single family homes and small apt. complexes mixed together. We have people that come through regularly and pick through the trash to get recyclables. During election time I noticed several people going through the trash cans and dumpsters not picking up recyclables but pulling large white envelopes out of the trash. Fraud is very real with mail in ballots.

Democrats are on record as saying "never let a crisis go to waste"
There is nothing that some journalist could write that would sway me from basic common sense. Like Jazz said... how do we know people aren't voting twice ?
How do we trust that UPS doesn't drop off truckloads of ballots at a wherehouse with people ready to fill out ballots. Then the real ballot owners say "I never got my ballot"
Absentee works fine
This is fucked up
Common sense = people believe what they want to believe
In Colorado, for example, voters can track their ballots through each stage of the electoral process,
But there is NO tracking of that ballot by the State....the voter has the unique ID like a package tracking....just so the voter can track doesn't mean that the voter was legitimate. I highly doubt they did extensive research into whether ballot fraud existed...the votes and ballots are anonymous as mandated by state law. Your name is not on the ballot....so how do we know who voted and who they voted for......
Look at all the mail fraud that exists.....people stealing identities, rummaging through the trash to get a person's name, address, etc.
And of course....we won't know the results of our elections for weeks after voting day....
There is no evidence of significant fraud by mail in ballots, period.
The voter can track his ballot, meaning he has control over the entire process, from receiving to sending. If these is a problem he can complain to the state about it.
But if I stole YOUR mail in ballot and you voted in person....and I vote in person, I get to vote twice, my in person and YOUR mail in.
Just because their is no proof, might be no one is looking closely......
*there
I am from Oregon....a state with 4 million people...CA has 10 times that amount and 10 times the number of voters.
Oregon actually checks signatures on the person's voter registration card against the signature on the ballot.....Newsom is NOT planning to do that..
"But if I stole YOUR mail in ballot and you voted in person....and I vote in person, I get to vote twice, my in person and YOUR mail in."
Nope. They're not going to count both my vote in person and my mail in ballot. There are checks against that.
Republican need to cool out maybe your friend William Barr will devise some act of faggotry to no-ifiy thousands of mail in votes from Democratic districts or some wild shit!
He will probably need to and it wont be an act of faggotry either.
Oh yes it will be just like the bullshit he did this week with Mike Flynn.
Prosecutor have NEVER seen that shit done before. Those prosectors that said that are DOJ prosectors!
William Barr thinks he's the J Edgar Hoover of the Attorney Generals office.
That whole thing is so not over yet...
