I wonder just how packed it will be from all the people doing a mass exodus from Los Angeles? Personally I'll pass till things normalize a bit more. I'm thinking the place is going to be packed.

@ruaturtle. Since when has Vegas *ever* been the same. You want to see a different Vegas just wait 6 months.Snow, flash floods, new buildings, new events, new weird people, renovations of old places...you name it. It'll just blend into Vegas and be Vegas.

It won't be that crazy. Rooms are available at 4 star resorts for $100 per night (that's pretty cheap for a 3 day weekend) in Vegas.
You couldn't pay me to go there but I hope it works out for them. Vegas gets absolutely killed with downturns in tourism.

Vegas usually has the Punk Rock Bowling on Memorial weekend. It's postponed til 2021. There will be plenty of rooms available.

@NPembrush... I've been in Vegas when it snowed several years ago and was gambling several years ago when the water came inside The Linq Hotel.
I'm in Vegas one or twice a month for the past 13 years since I own 4 rental properties so I've seen all kinda shit.
When I said Vegas won't be the same I meant you can't just walk into almost any casino, restaurant and etc without wearing a mask or infared forehead thermometer and many more stuff.

@ruaturtle I wasn't trying to offend, so sorry if it came across that way. I was in Vegas on September 11 having breakfast when a live feed of the 2nd plane hit the tower.
Still given time it came back. That was my point.

The other question is how are people going to get there. No way I would fly now even though the flight is quick. A 6 hour bus ride is out of the question for sure. I guess driving would be the only way for now. No Clubs, No Buffets just gambling with those restrictions, it going to take some time before Vegas is really back.

All you people that are living in fear of this virus... were you afraid of cars before? Did you stop having sex in the 80's?
Soon enough Covid 19 will just be another bug that makes people sick and kills some. Closing down the economy to make everyone poor except public employees and elected officials is terrible policy.

Casinos aren't allowed to open until after May 30 and maybe longer.

Local San Diego county casinos starting to open Monday. Sone Wednesday and others Friday. Pechanga and San Manuel not until June.

Yes you could smoke in casinos. The employees have tried to get it banned for years. The casinos won't do it because so many of their players smoke. The employees are hoping that since this is a respiratory illness they will. We'll see.

A smoking ban wouldn't bother me. A Pornstar ban would, however.
