I think there’s a lot that people don’t know and I feel that he’s handling very serious catastrophes as best as he can without getting people in a complete panic. All we get to really do is sit back and view whatever possible with our situational lenses. Of course he looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing but I’m pretty sure he does.

I absolutely agree "he is doing the best he can" , but his best is really really bad. But what is really scary is that this is the best we are going to get, he is not going to learn from his mistakes, he is not going to try to do better next time. So when the next crisis rolls around we are going to get the same level of incompetence.

I think the problem is with melania really. When you want to know how Trump has handled the virus just look at South Korea. They are a 6 hour flight from China many people go back and forth. South Korea has recorded 11,000 plus cases and 292 deaths. The population of South Korea is 51 million. The population of the US is 300 million plus and landmass much greater but we have 1.5 million confirmed cases and 89,000 deaths confirmed. Since they say the virus came for China why/how has South Korea controlled it and US has not.
Why?

First off if his ass wasn't trying to blackmail Ukraine to get dirt on Joe Biden he wouldn't have been impeached in the first place.
Second Trump didn't testify. He wasn't at the trial. He watched on TV like we all did.
If he can't run the country and chew gum at the same time he shouldn't be President!
That trial is in no way is an excuse for not getting the country prepared for what was clearly going to our shores very soon and kill people.

Anyone with sense knew Trump wasn't capable of handling a crisis and he has clearly proven that. Constantly bickering with Governors, not liking what scientist are saying if it doesn't fit his narrative, trying to tweet up people to oppose the very rules his White House put in place.
There is no clear direction on this crisis coming from the President of the United States.

There are more cases deaths in our country then any where else in the world, our economy is taking a harder hit then anywhere else in the world.

OP asked about a National Crisis, and not necessarily this Pandemic.
So, if the crisis were Foreign Policy, like with China..... Trump wins. His "Take No Prisoners" approach is what other countries do to us. Obama, and I voted for him, was too passive in negotiating with foreign leaders.
If we are referring to our current pandemic... Obama win. This isn't about politics. We need leaders that are focused on our health and human services. So, we don't just blindly open businesses and risk a second wave of illnesses. And, we reopen certain areas with clear guidance from government.
