I have to disagree about the free masks only given to white people though... Just today I handed out masks to 2 filipinos a 3 hispanics and a black man. Yes once again the black man got shafted but to be fair he was the only black man that came through the doors and he was the first customer of the day.

The four cops got fired... done. They probably have families to support but now that's over. Hope you guys feel good about that. No Rodney King trial with a bullshit verdict.
Now here's a written story about what happened to provide context.
"The incident in Minneapolis began with a report of a customer attempting to use a counterfeit $20 bill at a store.
The officers located the suspect in his car, police said in a statement. They were told the man, who has not been identified, was "sitting on top of a blue car and appeared to be under the influence".
After being ordered to step away from the vehicle, the man physically resisted officers, according to police. "Officers were able to get the suspect into handcuffs and noted he appeared to be suffering medical distress," the statement added."
I suppose you think cops or media made all that shit up and had no reason to apprehend the guy. So four cops lost their jobs because they had to deal with this one guy today. It doesnt matter if those cops are black, brown, yellow, white, or gay. They no longer can provide for thier families.
It's unfortunate the guy died for sure... dont get me wrong. The cops probably violated some sort of protocol along the way. You know it will be reviewed.

There is nothing that can be said to defend these officers. Even if he had been a gun wielding lunatic, he was down and it seemed from the video cuffed. It doesn’t matter what happened before the video. Officers do not have the authority to “punish” bad behavior.. I don’t know the officers or the full context , so I am not going to try to attribute motive (Hate, Racism, etc...) but what I saw was callous indifference. It cost a man his life. They should have been fired immediately (after proper review), which they were. They should be arrested and charged appropriately. Which I believe they will be.
When a large group of people (almost 700,000 law enforcement officers in the US) have physical authority... there will be ghastly abuses.
Unfortunately police are rarely held accountable. I hope in this one they are.

More of a poverty issue.
Groups have also suggested that minorities are more likely to die of Cavid19 because they are minorities. More likely it has to do with a a poverty demographic rather than a minority demographic.
Some of the victims share some culpability for being in a suspect area , doing suspect actions and above all resisting actions.
For God's sake if you resist the instructions of the Police you will be taken down. If you're not doing anything wrong just comply.
Being that said the actions of the police in this latest incident are pretty egregious.
When individual cops do something this bad they need to be held accountable.

I agree LE have a difficult, sometimes impossible job... and the deal daily with the dregs of society. And MOST do an amazing job. So many are heroes.
With that said, there are moments of clarity. This seems to be one of them.
This seems to have been clear and unnecessary abuse.
What happened in Chicago or St. Louis has no bearing on this single moment in Minneapolis. We can start another blog about the horrors of violence communities inflict on themselves. The reasons, causes, effects and solutions... but that discussion is irrelevant to this one.
We know wrong when we see it. It scares all of us for different reasons. Some feel, “that could have been me or someone I love. Some feel, as worldclass stated, the boldness to do that in clear view of witnesses and cameras means there is an untouchable, unaccountable type arrogance with some law enforcement. Some feel the need to defend the officers (not saying that is you) in fear that pointing out this wrong becomes a slippery slope to indict the entire system.
These are the tough moments in life. Are we big enough to call foul... on ourselves. It seems the Mayor, the police chief, the review board are willing in this case. Next it will be the District Attorney... let’s see what happens.

A friend of mine popped off to an L.A. County Sheriff about 10 years ago, my friend was a passenger when I got pulled over on the 101 Freeway just past Calabasas.
The Sheriff yanked his head out the car window, put him in a headlock,and shot pepper spray straight up his nose.
Why? Because he said, "Don't you have something better to do than to hassle me? I haven't done anything wrong." This was in response to the Sheriff demanding his ID, and saying he was high on drugs and that he wanted to take him out of the car and search him.
He had no drugs, was not high, and never used drugs a single time in his life.
And that happened in Los Angeles to middle-upper middle class white guys in their early 20s, driving in a nice car, clean cut, and decently dresses, on a Friday night at around 11 pm.
Plenty of whites get beaten by cops, get their rights violated, and die at the hands of police officers and their abuse in public and in the jails. This a a cop problem, not a black and white problem.
Stop with the division.

Youtube is great for learning about stuff. This is what I learned a few years ago on the process of arresting someone (someone here will think I'm LE which is funny, I do NOT want that jo
ASK the suspect to come into custody (put your hands on the car or whatever)
TELL the suspect to come into custody
MAKE the suspect to come into custody
Last part is resisting arrest. Apparently the guy had enough clouding his brain (drugs, alcohol, anger or stupid bravado). Suspects resisting arrest will do and say all kinds of things as an excuse. Officers generally try to not want to die (look for videos of suspects in handcuffs stealing weapons from cops) so they control the situation.
Hey if you've got some great ways avoiding the MAKE stage that'd be great. Please by all means provide that training to all police departments.
Now was this racism? Dunno, let the courts decide.
Is it murder? Let the courts decide.
OR we can go full stupid and riot. Personally I prefer peaceful protests if this was racially motivated.

I am merely pointing out an obvious issue that continues to get glossed over.
What that cop did is horrendous...he deserves whatever punishment he gets.
But we have a media and many people on the left who seem to ignore some other horrendous realities.
Crime is often NOT a race issue...it is an economic issue. And no one wants to acknowledge the fact that education is not highly valued in inner city neighborhoods, since their citizens do not demand higher standards of the educators. Don't say they have less money....since billions of State and Federal money is pumped into under served schools. Until the educational system improves, the black youth get a better education and better jobs, we will continue to have issues and it is NOT race....

I don't understand why anyone would do anything to piss off a cop. If the officer tells me to stand on my head and chant .....that is what I will do. He has a gun, backup of the entire police force and I don't want him uncomfortable at any time. If he initiates an illegal search, I will say i don't give my permission, but if he does so anyway, we can sort it out later. In the heat of the moment is NOT when you need to assert your rights....

Unfortunately racism exist everywhere but until us as people can come together for the people nothing is going to change. How is it back in like the 1900s and what not when government did exist the people which was us overthrew the government and got what we wanted but now we’re so scared of the government that we allow things like this to happen. No one deserves to be treated like that no matter what type of person you are we’re all human beings at the end of the day and bleed the same blood we need to spread more world love and really come together so we can diminish problems like these.

Y'all making excuses for these murdering cops need to go watch some facts. They killed a man who was not fighting back and didn't have reasonable use DEADLY force.
1. NETFLIX 13th: a solid documentary by Ava DuVerna on the EVOLUTION of police and mass incarceration of black men...hint: our 2020 police units evolve from slave catchers. Voting suppression of the black vote still exists today in 2020...White people in power are still trying to supress black voices (see the ongoing Florida felon vote issues this week- modern day jim crow) facts.
2. AMAZON has a GREAT documentary done by 2 white southern women whose family where slave owners called THE LONG SHADOW which lays out SPECIFICALLY. This ongoing disenfrancisement of the black community leads to 2020 issues like blacks being unable to get loans for housing after WWII and but poor white people getting loans leading to then having a mortgage that later funds poor white children ability to go to college. Its a domino that contributes to upward mobility or supression of former enslavement. facts
EVEN the HBO docu I was watching last night about the Atlanta child killings talked about how in the 80's the few black cops the city weren't allowed to arrest white people committing crimes..facts
Saying white people are acting white = acting entitled is not racist...Look at Amy Copper this week. A white woman using her voice to weaponize the NYC cops against a black man just because she didn't like being told to follow leash laws...She felt special and entitled to do as she wanted...That is most white people who try to police non-white people or acting like rules don't apply to them (face masks)
If you are white- how often had you had white people police you out in public? I am brown and have black friends- it happens all the time...
Did you know that white women when walking out in public always expect people to move for them? Very rarely an excuse me or sorry. I had a couple black friends point that out last year and since then I realized it was true and stopped moving for white women...Other brown women I knew shared their same experiences when I told them about it. So when I was with my white client in Vegas and mentioned this truth to him...while we were walking in the Venetian I showed him how white women would never move or say excuse me. These women would literally run into me because they expected me to move. He was shocked.
