The economic damage done to Minneapolis alone is devastating. With that many business trashed it will take too long to rebuild. Nobody with the money will take the chance.

Anytime there is a cop on trial for one of these racial cases the first thing they do is try to move the trial out of any urban city and have it in a local cop friendly town to get a cop friendly jury. Normally murder one shouldn't be hard to prove for a man kneeling on a man's juggler vein and neck for 9 mins (which is no known police tactic). Anytime a cop is involved it will be hard to get a conviction. Thats why you see in 90% of the cases the cops involved have been not convicted. In the case of Micheal Brown, the case didn't even go to trial.

You all do realize most cities have certain requirements for anyone who wants an organized protest. Typically as long as the protesters march on the streets or sidewalks AND don't block pedestrian or vehicular traffic, they don't need a permit. However, it they are blocking traffic or are on other public land, like parks, schools, etc. they are required to file for a city permit.
Private owners of property can make their own rules, and if they don't want anyone on their property, they have the right to demand people leave.
I highly doubt ANY of these protests followed any of the city regulations and as such, they are unlawful and police have every right to force them to disband.

I am commenting on riots all over this country where people are looting, burning building and cars, defacing store fronts, etc. Not protesting.
The cop needs to be convicted of murder....yep.
But I don't want our country burned to the ground.
Most cities are already pushing bankruptcy....you don't think this craziness won't push many over the edge......these riots (I can no longer call them protests) will cost this country billions at a time when we are already on the brink of financial disaster.

Yes looting is burning building is very wrong.
Its mostly done by young people.
Someone breaks one store window and a few rush in then mobs do it.
Conservatives take the reaction to the racially crime and try to over shadow the crime it self. There are bad actors that mix in with peaceful protestors. This has happened every time people have protested going back to the 60's.
This is absolutely the wrong time for people to be mass gathering. Right when thing are being to reopen. I understand it though.
I see people wearing mask which is good but this has the potential of erasing all the gains we have made flattening the curve.

Virtually every time you have one of these protests or riots depending upon your POV you have organized looting by the criminal elements. It happened in the 1992 riots and is happening in these riots.
One interesting thing is that now you have some of these mayors claiming the problems are being caused by outside agitators. I remember the same being said in the 1960s during riots. The difference was that in the 1960s it was mostly conservative politicians and now it is mostly liberal politicians making those statements.

Police said he bought something in a store and used a fake $20 bill.
the sore owner called the police and the situation began.
I found a picture of that $20 bill he used.
Seeing the fake twenty puts the whole case into perspective.

Riots her could have been prevented by allowing deployment of the National Guard to locations posted on social media by the protesters. To separate the willing shills -- the non-violent protesters -- from the looters is media and political (but I repeat myself) propaganda. The looters are organized and coordinated.
A strategic layer of protesters insulated the locations of the looters from the police. Look at the videos especially from the sky. Coordinated buffer. The looters convoy in, loot and disburse on a clock, then come out, change clothes and drive away. Bet the same vehicles appear at several looted locations in LA.
Now look at what happened at the White House -- a layer of actual peaceful protesters banded together and refused the commands of the shill protesters orders to disband and leave. With real time video you can see the frustration of the shill organizers trying to shame and then intimidate the peaceful ring of protesters to break. They did not and the incident the shills where there to instigate did not happen.
There is no more clear a picture than this scene that the looters and violent protesters are coordinated and funded.
