He blamed the Obama administration saying "weak leadership in Washington" was the cause of the 2014 riots in Ferguson. However this time it's the fault of the mayor of Minneapolis??

Ok, great information. Here's what I found out: Minnesota has a Democratic Governor, the Attorney General of Minnesota is a Democrat. Minnesota has Two Democratic Senators, one of them Amy Klobuchar was the prosecutor when the officer in question was brought up on a shooting charge (Although she did not work the case) . Minneapolis has a Democratic Mayor and the congressional district where the George Floyd's death took place was represented by Ilhan Omar a progressive Democrat.
So How Is this Trumps Fault?

Since rioters/demonstrators showed up in my neighborhood in Long Beach, I grabbed my camera and went to take photographs (my hobby is photography).
Those looters/thugs are really know what they are doing, with deliberately creating chaos. Where there is a few police present, looters first smashed store windows, then a biker smoking the area the with bunch of cars coming to occupy the streets so that looters can safely steal goods and run away.

The idea that politicians have no part in this is ridiculous.
Some of us are so far removed from fear, desperation and oppression we can’t identify with what is happening.
Obviously the looters are assholes taking advantage of a moment. But the protestors are at a place of extreme frustration for multiple reasons.... some of which belong in the laps of politicians.
Rioting, revolt and revolution are tools of the desperate. Usually people are desperate for a reason. Solving those problems are largely the responsibility of the politician.
Politicians make.... wait for it.... policy.
If policies are part of the problem.... politicians deserve some blame.

You are right. They should wait for the next black man that is clearly murdered on camera by a police officer.
When will the next time be that is so egregious even Rush Limbaugh says, “Look, you people in law enforcement know I’m at the top of the list of people who support you and understand how hard your jobs are, I still — given all of that, do not … I cannot find a way to explain that. I can’t find a way to justify it. I don’t care what the guy did.”
There is no question here. There is no “other” side of the story. A handcuffed and subdued man was killed by reckless police brutality.... on video. This is a moment where most people can agree. They cannot allow anarchists steal it.
If they went home today... and came back next month, the looters will take advantage of that moment too.

It is a total chaos, and sad to see my town has been destroyed for no other reasons other than opportunistic stealing and annihilation.
The retail stores were about to open after more than two months of lockdown.

Antifah and BLM are terrorist organizations. Everyone has the right to protest but figures you dumbass’s blame the president. If he cured cancer you would still have issue with him. Justice has been served. The four policemen have been fired and one of them has been charged with murder. It’s kind of unprecedented and I can’t recall justice being served so quickly. If this action is not enough then nothing will be.

Piss his pants when the protestors started coming across the protections and am the White House went on lock down.
Later in the day you see him with the same jacket but darker pants that don’t match what he wore earlier.

If you read my blog carefully, you realize I am not blaming Trump on this incident directly. I said this riots are distraction, and I said we should rather pay attention to how Trump degraded US politics.
People don't read sentences carefully.

I live in DT LB. Chief of Police must have told his officers if you see something, do nothing because that's all they did on TV. Saw no cops around me except for when the main group of protestors came down the street. And they were peaceful.
Later, when the looting was going on, I saw some citizens stop a group looting a doctor's office across the street. The gang bailed, but then turned around, barreled the wrong way down Ocean and then went up the sidewalk trying to run them over. No cops in sight.

Yes apparently that was the case when I was witnessing what was going on there. Police stood in front of the demonstrators, but they never used any force to arrest anyone.

This is a great article, everybody should read this and we all should feel their pains; because they will not stop their demonstration until we all get it.
US is showing a crisis in democracy, especially after Trump became a president, who does not have a inkling of empathy to "other people". "Others" means people with different colors, who speak other languages, always condemned to slavery. Others that Trump=white identity would refuse to recognize.
US also shows most ugly part of capitalism ( not that I am a communist or anything that right wing people on this community thinks I am). Inequality and extreme filthy riches and totally poors.

Trump is acting more and more like a little fuhrer or should I say a dictator deploying US military against its own people. That is what an authoritarian regime does to silence people from demonstrating (cf: China or Russia).
Those demonstrators and thugs/looters are totally different problems to deal with. Trump kicked out legal demonstrators yesterday in order to discuss about military deployment is a national shame.
Even a DC bishop, Rev Mariann Buddle openly criticized what Trump did yesterday.
Meantime, several police officers kneeled down with demonstrators in order to express solidarity, and that is what Trump and Willam Barr are totally ignoring, because it is beyond their comprehension.
As I said earlier in this blog, we are in a crisis over our democracy is the US. We should not let Trump take hostile take over our freedom and democracy.

President Obama says in hindsight he wishes the Whitehouse (meaning him) would have acted more quickly during the Fergusson Protests/looting/vandalism.
Unfortunately there is no playbook for Presidents and they must do their job in the midst of shouts from critics and the opposition party.
I respect anyone who is willing to step up and try to lead during impossible moments.
I often don’t agree with Trump. I often didn’t agree with Obama... but those guys are in the thick of it doing something.
