“The injustice that’s evident to everyone right now needs to be addressed,” Abraar Karan, a Brigham and Women’s Hospital physician who’s exhorted coronavirus experts to amplify the protests' anti-racist message, told me. "While I have voiced concerns that protests risk creating more outbreaks, the status quo wasn’t going to stop #covid19 either," he wrote on Twitter this week.
“Staying at home, social distancing, and public masking are effective at minimizing the spread of COVID-19,” the letter signers add. “However, as public health advocates, we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission.”
The last comment just goes against all evidence. Unbelievable!!!!
I guess when it was about people protesting losing their jobs due to the lockdown, THEN science won out.

I've often said when people ask me about other countries I've visited about how people live in ______. My perception in many of those cases that life is cheap there, in some of those places no one cares if you disappear, or the powerful have so little regard for the common man that they denigrate them for ignorance and yet provide no Avenue for improvement ON ANY LEVEL.
Its painful to see driving around these days people living on the streets ... roaming to cities in I'll kept RVs no place to go and the people that claim to care are making millions soaking the taxpayer for aid that never gets delivered.
In our cities in this great place ... Life is cheap and all people want to do is bitch that a guy said something that they consider insulting. While those who they support do nothing for the least of us.
