I always write in the notes "Right Wing Bitch" if find a political flair. Often the Left Wing is too much for me as well. So I guess what I am saying is a political discussion is not what I would be looking for on HX.

Most of the women I've had relationships with outside this site have had differing political opinions. I just keep quite and let them spout until they feel they've won the conversation.

Different political views? No problem. But a lot of the shit you hear these days is beyond political, it’s about moral values. I won’t spend time with somebody whose moral values are lacking.

The difference is between HOLDING differing views and RESPECTING them.
I have ruled off some ladies on here who have said/written some hateful stuff about people who hold my POV. But one of my very favorite regulars is my exact opposite politically. We have had some great, respectful political discussions/arguments after sex. In fact we agree the disagreement can make us seem hotter to each other...

I bet she'll sit there and say, "you had to ask". After her asking me to be friends before Trump got elected, I said okand things were good. I never brought him up or talked about politics. I could see the writing on the wall, then asked if I was a supported. Saying yes got me a long txt the next day dumping me. I thought ok then, cause I'm better than that. Later when derangement really set in I get a pm talking about all trump supporters must die ! The very hour my father passed away. And of course I'm blocked to reply. Well you really showed your true colors on that one.

Doesn’t matter to me. But, I learned many moons ago to not engage in political conversation, with new contacts. I have A wide circle of friends, from left to right (however, I do draw the line on cross burning).
I consider myself a “true liberal” meaning I have an open mind.
It never ceases to amaze me how some so called liberals, refuse to socialize with those of differing opinions. Open minded?

I can deal with avoiding the topic of politics with a chick 1 on 1 but around here you get the potential for judgement from a third opinion sometimes.
A guy handling PM's who hovers close by, follows you to the lot, sometimes in the next room.
Not been any issue in the past but that's what I ponder more lately.

I've got friends who are Progressives, not vagina hat libs....just normal libs.
We tend to agree on most social issues, not all.
When we talk finance/economics, they're lost and haven't a clue.
Nearly all of them make decisions emotionally, it's as if the logical side of their brain is in the off position.
I will explain it to them, they seem to understand it at the moment and even agree with me
The very next day, they got amnesia and fall back into emo mode
It's both frustrating and confounding.
They get caught up in the excitement and just gotta go march about it.
It's totally goofy
They seem to know that it won't accomplish anything lasting but they just have a need to virtue signal and show solidarity with someone....anyone, lol
I don't mind though, they're good people.
OTOH, if it was AOC, I would need to duct tape her mouth shut while she's bent over a desk.

I was thinking more along the lines of, if someone's posts make it clear that she's very opposed to your own beliefs. Not thinking of asking about her politics as a filter before arranging a meet-up.
Speaking for myself, if I know she's a far-leftie from her description or posts, I'd probably look elsewhere. Mainly because I wouldn't feel comfortable with someone like that. If she hasn't made her views known, then I wouldn't have a problem.

I voted and did my job but to be republican doesn't mean I agree with with what a republican leader or candidate do or say ,
Here.in HX I can meet anyone and talk about anything they want but I try to not talk about politics and if I do I try to don't go to the extreme , I rather have a good time than ended up with a disagreement and ruin the main objective of the meeting (-:
If somebody want to talk about politics I will need to schedule a nice dinner with a good red wine but not inside my room .
