Not sure that was a party but thanks to your grand daddy.

My dad was close by in England supporting the B24 Liberator Air Crews. He did Norden bombsite training, alignment and maintenance.
He knew guys that flew back shot up and alot more that never made it back to base. They gave *ALL*.
Those guys flew daily raids into the NW coastal areas of France in prep of D day. Missions continued further in and always ahead of the advancing ground force attack and eventually into Germany.

Indeed Reaper! My dad's cousin is buried there, need to go see him again. My dad fought over there too, but thankfully arrived about a month later; or a might not be here. I may try to watch the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan, but every time I do

When I think of what these soldiers did, the sacrifices they made for us to have the rights we have, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and emotions.
We can speak our minds, protest, and demonstrate against our government. These soldiers laid their lives down for our rights to do these things. How can one not be grateful?
I do not think I could do the same...it is just truly amazing.
My grandfather lied about being married and having 2 children ( later the tally became 17), in order to serve this country. He was on the Pacific side of the war.
Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve for our freedoms.

The French still refer to Utah Beach as that - respect
The average age of a soldier that assaulted the beach on D-Day was 20 years old

I've posted this picture before, and still dig it.

Respect for those who gave everything for our freedom.......salute our flag and stand at attention to honor those who died for their country.

My great grandfather was a tailgunner of a B-24. He said they flew over during the landings.
All my grand fathers and grand uncles were in the Pacific during D-day. I know my grand mother was a nurse who went to Europe but she never talked about it.

Theres a foundation that tours the US by flying WW fighter aircraft into local airports like JWA, Santa Monica etc.
You can see the planes by crawling through and even go for an hour long flight if you want. Cool ride out and around the offshore oil islands.
I've flown in the B24 and B17's they have.
They have a few other planes and even a P51 but it's a pricey ride.

^You dad found in a war in 1944? How old are you dude.
Cant do math?...
No I can't....Were you born before he went to war, during or shortly after he came back?
Dude you're one old ass motherfucker.
My dad was 19 when he was there. I was born 15 yrs after the end of WWII.
That makes me the exact age indicated in my profile... the only profile I have.
Bullshit

^ fuck off Lebowski ... your stupid...
Go to 7-11 and get some twinkies and a big gulp
I think 7-11 is still closed because of protest in some areas.
Dude post from your Anger1 account let hear more from one of your other character profiles
My dad fought in WWII also. In the Philippines, including battles of Leyte and Luzan.
He never really wanted to talk much about it, but I guess it was pretty nasty in some of the jungles.
Guess math wasn't a strong suit for some here......

Give Doofy a break!
He doesn't even know who his Dad was
Probably Major Labia

What's up with Doofy and his obsession with other accounts?
Stay with the Doom theme, it works for you Doofy.

Great video.
Always should be remembered.
great respect to all those people...
Yes, our fathers were of the Greatest Generation.
They fought bravely and many did not come back.
Most taught us to respect the flag and be thankful for this great nation of ours.
So please don't take offense when I get pissed when someone takes a knee and disrespects their memory.
I don't care what your cause might be...find another avenue to gain focus on it.....leave the flag and our National Anthem alone...
"The Great Generation = The Best Generation!"
Its sad that there are so many people out there that have absolutely no clue about what happened on this anniversary. History does and can repeat itself.
My Dad and 4 of my uncles were in that war. One was killed
The greatest generation? They overcame the crippling deprivations of the Great Depression then went to serve their country, by fighting overseas in a WORLD WAR. They came home, went to work and raised families, sacrificing so their kids could have a better life.
Yes a Great Generation.
"Yes, our fathers were of the Greatest Generation.
They fought bravely and many did not come back."
Too bad he had such a pussy who gets all butt hurt if someone talks badly about his leader Trump

"I've 3 out of the 4 in that pic but they refuse to rate me!"
Classic

I forgot the *seen, lol
I was too old for for WW2 but let me tell you, the Great War.....the war to end all wars, was no picnic.
After we broke thru at Amiens, we had to advance to the Hindenburg Line. We fought the Hun right up to the Armistice. Poor Henry Gunther met his maker 1 minute before the signing. Very sad day that was and I just turned 18. Henry was a bit of an asshole though and nobody really missed him, reminded me a lot of Doofy.
Anyway, shagged a couple of frauleins before I sailed back to the good old US of A. Funny thing is we had a pandemic then too but we didn't give a shit. Hell, we'd just survived a war!
It's actually funnier without saying seen.
Comeback of the year - "Go to 7-11 and get some twinkies and a big gulp"
One of the most important dates in history. June 6, 1944.
this year went by lighting fast...just seemed like a few months ago, trump was over there for all the celebrations
My father is still there.
Mr,. Horndog...
"Yes, our fathers were of the Greatest Generation.
They fought bravely and many did not come back."
Too bad he had such a pussy who gets all butt hurt if someone talks badly about his leader Trump
Too bad you turned out to be such a moronic boob who cannot even give respect to fathers who fought and died so you can be the ass you are.......
This has nothing to do with Trump but you have such Trump Derangement Syndrome that you can't go a single blog without speaking up about Trump.....
Can't wait to hear your wailing when he wins and you have to deal with it for 4 more years.
