What is depressing is realizing that Progressives have run Chicago and Minneapolis for a long time and done NOTHING about the systemic racism they so loudly declaim
Look at Detroit, Philly, Baltimore, you name the Progressive city that DOESN'T have inner city flight for the burbs. Any black person that gets to middle class, gets the FUCK out.

I saw the video of the Minneapolis mayor walking away from that open crowd were he told the he would not back defunding of police and walked away as he was jeered".
I thought for a moment "wholly crap, that guys done."
But then I thought.. that cant possibly be the whole voting, working, tax paying population of Minneapolis congregated for a Q&A with the mayor. He probably walked away thinking it was a staged political media stunt and nobody in there right mind would vote for this shit. ( crazy shit can happen.. )
Then GBD brings up how police unions have progressive oversight as well.
I would like to think cooler heads are going to prevail on this whole "defunding police" thing when push becomes shove.
Even a CNN anchor was surprised to hear some gal from Minneapolis city board say that having police protection is "a priviledge" as if the fact that some dont benefit nobody should have it.
