Damn these cops don't stop!
Look at this video from Boyle Hts
"LAPD officer charged with assault after Boyle Heights confrontation"
|
|
He is getting what he deserves hopefully the police union will choose wisely to not back this guys defense.
No excuse for that...NONE ... ZILCH ... NADA

|
The second clip bombthrower ... and yeah I know, not kneeling.

These police officers and officials are out of their damn minds. Something needs to be done ASAP
|

One cop was charged with murder, the other assault. Seems like something is being done.

I'm curious which officials are out of their minds. Just curious, some were letting their cities decay into lawlessness for decades.... in the case of New York it only took 8 years to get to this point.
Lots a people out of their Damn minds, but no one is stepping up and when they do the get shouted down. GL finding someone sane.

The jury will see the videos, move along.

I’m not referring to just this incident I’m saying in general. Police brutality has been going on for many many years now and honestly it’s just not right.
|
|
And yes I think everybody is out of their damn mind in some kind of way but honestly the police are supposed to be here to protect and serve and I personally feel like a lot of them abuse their power and authority and it’s not OK. Many people have had their lives taken by police officers and have had no justice at all but because this man was a Freemason, his brother is a professional NBA player and I do believe his father was an activist the media has definitely gotten a hold of it and something did had to be done legally.

Two words:
Strong union.

Police brutality = guy in a cop suit singing YMCA

As far as Cauvins defense (there is none) they can say anything it's his defense, pretty sure some part of that guy put pressure on his carotid artery and killed him. It looked like a knee could been his shin... net effect is the same.

Where's the outrage and protests for David Dorn?!?
A Black man and former police chief killed while protecting his friends pawn shop.
Oh, right, doesn't fit the narrative.

This is an going to be an unpopular opinion BUT...
I don't think Chauvin actually killed Floyd.
A knee on the neck should not kill someone. I think they are pointing blame to Chauvin so he can get off in trial.
So who killed Floyd? The other two officers on his back. These officers put enough pressure on his chest to keep him from being able to breath well enough to live.
Of course Chauvin helped kill him, he was the "leader" and he maintained Floyd in his incapacitated state.

^^ that maneuver is banned in many places and has proven to cause injury or death

Atticus,
The outrage is against the police. Civilians killing civilians is completely okay in the f'd up world we find ourselves now. I remember a time when the inner city was screaming that police never came until long after the crime. We're heading back that way.

when white people get killed by the police...do we see white people in the streets rioting, destroying property and killing people, how about brown people? nope. it's a sham!
if criminals get killed...white, brown or black? I really don't give a shit...hopefully, if things were done dirty, or with negligence, they should face appropriate punishment.
if you play the game in criminal circles...bad shit can happen. I don't care if it's my relative...those are the consequences

Some of you guys need to look at yourself
Plan and simple

This is a something I have thought about a lot during this time.
If someone in the crowd had approached one of them what would have happened?
I can't say it wouldn't be a worse story than it already is.
I fear a well funded police as much as I fear a de-funded police when I think of that.
But in the end we all fear chaos and we need to have accountability all around in our society and when we dont demand it from those that think like us then we cant expect it from those that dont. So this means If you think your guys have done wrong and we KNOW THEY HAVE ... own it and make them accountable.

yes...that is part of it is factored that in when I have done bad shit...i would not have been too happy about it. how many have had good or bad luck with drinking and driving when it comes to getting a DUI. The good luck part is not getting close to that ever happening again....the bad luck can be getting arrested and losing your job, or not getting arrested and you go out and kill someone accidentally
we are one bad decision and luck from a potential personal disaster happening at any time
there are different circles of potential bad shit..carring around guns and knives probably increase your odds of dying by

When you get the wind knocked out of you your diaphragm becomes temporarily paralyzed so it can no longer compress or expand your lungs.
Putting constant pressure on the rib cage so that your lungs can't expand, essentially crushing the lungs, is completely different because your diaphragm isn't involved - your lungs are crushed but your diaphragm is still functioning.
But I get your point.
