Cool. Looking forward to that. AJ showed some holes in his game in some of his recent fights tho.
I'm glad the UFC took the lead with sports. I've been watching every fight since they made their come back.
Boxing events will probably be similar to those of the UFC in the US where the audience is missing and hosted somewhere like in Florida until things get better or they might host them overseas. Eventually, all this will pass.
Thanks for the heads up on boxing. I haven't been paying close attention lately but I have seen most of the high level fights lately. I thought 2019 was a good year for boxing relative to prior years.
I would like to see either one last two rounds with Mike Tyson....everybody has a plan until they get hit in the mouth...at 53 years of age Tyson looks like he would be a bad ass for one or two rounds
The best fight of the decade would always be CaCutieClub versus TheAlterEgo. We could trash talk at the weigh-in and put everything on the table in a closed-cage match.
Mike was definitely amazing in his prime but he is older now. Despite of him looking good on video hitting the mitts he is not what he used to be. I love the guy but I really don't want him to step in the ring in a competitive match unless it's more of a sparring match. Same goes for Pacquiao wanting to fight guys like Terence Crawford.
Canelo vs Jacobs was definitely a good fight. Some people doubted me when I said Canelo would beat Jacobs because they saw how Jacobs performed against Golovkin and other fighters. Maybe Canelo is not what people like and they might compare him to people from a better boxing era but he is a fighter that's versatile and has kept better over time.
I've actually seen some of Leo Santa Cruz' fights live. He's definitely a good fighter and a humble dude. I saw his fight against Abner Mares from a Staples Center suite courtesy of the company I work for unrelated to boxing.
