Lol I'm not for or against open carry laws, I thinks it's funny when travelling to states to see a redneck or whomever walking around peacocking with their sidearm proudly displayed. It makes me wonder to what lengths people will go to to have a little self esteem. Is it derived from their feeling like a badass or from their feeling that someone would be intimidated by them carrying a firearm?

OC hospitalizations reached a high of 306 today. The data have been fluctuating back and forth between a plateau at peak values and inching up from that plateau.
ICU's set a new high record at 151.
Realize OC has been spared mostly -- so far. It's estimated that only 1% have been infected here. But that could change. By October, 6.3% of Orange County has been projected to get this, and that is before you see a second wave that could occur at that time.
Not just an old person's disease -- 1/3 of OC deaths affect people ages 54 or younger. Granted, there have been only 217 deaths so far in OC. But that's not talking about the lingering conditions people can have even after they no longer are sick with the virus. Problems with kidneys, lungs, and heart. However, we don't know how common this is. This could be rare.
The point is, you don't want to play roulette, take a chance, and get this. Not exactly sure what could happen to anyone.
Not saying you should always isolate and stay home either, unless you have pre-existing conditions and are older. Just recommending you protect yourself and wear masks and social distance. Reduce transmission for your health and for others.

I am a BIG 2A guy. Which is out of character with most of my friends, because they are usually VERY strong supporters of DJT, where I can't stand the man. Which is tragic because I actually favor his trade policies over those we heard of HRC, because as we see now- you CAN'T be so dependant on cheap labor (China) that you sacrifice the safety of your people (no PPE).
The constant child-like, school yard insults and put downs have gotten old. At first, I must admit it WAS kind of funny to see some of the political correct people LOSE THEIR MINDS at someone that talks as a mechanic or construction worker does daily. But, just like an Adam Sandler movie that has a few good laughs- it has become tiring now, making me ask- "is this thing still on?"
SO- some real talk. We know Russia interfered with the election-point blank. The republican senate came to that conclusion as well through THEIR investigation. The facts that are not in dispute, because both sides agree that it was the goal of Russia to sow the seeds of discord in the US and make us fight each other....Hmmm- anyone look away from their respective Fox news or MSNBC to see that the actual F-is going on?!?
