too late, the damage is done
the pussies have stuck their heads in the sand once again

Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben.....both gone.
Can't wait to see what else falls by the wayside......as the crazies run around trying to change everything that ever occurred in our country......
Wasn't she a successful black lady? 🤔

stubbs bbq sauce
famous amos

Yes, now that Wally Amos doesn't own the company any longer, I presume Kellogg will cave, although Wally's image is no longer on the packaging.
Of course these large companies paid huge sums for the company and rights to these names....and in a blink, the name is dead.
Of course, each of the people like Wally Amos made millions selling their companies.....and they obviously didn't disagree with their likenesses on the product. But some WOKE crazy now attacks these products.....
Wally Amos "Famous Amos" has nothing to do with slavery. He is an African American entrepreneur. Famous Amos is here to stay. UNREAL!!!
Reaper.....the crazies have burned down, damaged and looted black businesses....They don't even do their research to check this stuff....
Meh. It used a stereotype from the early part of last century. The syrup horrible; Call it "Mad Karl's Sodium Hexametaphosphate with High Fructose Corn Syrup."
Aunt Jemima no doubt has slave roots. Uncle Ben, not so much.
I think they might have gotten rid of AJ in the southern markets a while ago.
This is complete BS
This week they target food products, next week it will be art and music. Look out Lynyrd Skynyrd and free home Alabama.
There was a totalitarian regime that came into power in the 1930's in some western European nation.. I forget which one. They did the same shit. Tried to define acceptable art, music, literature. Burned alot of books and targeted a certain race as being "the problem" and harrassed them.

Though Mrs. Butterworth is white. Just to let some of you know.
That syrup is trash.
Why dont you buy real maple syrup instead of that processed trash.
Reaper......many people will not check and Mrs. Butterworth will be the next on the chopping block.

"the crazies have burned down, damaged and looted black businesses....They don't even do their research to check this stuff."
Last week they pulled down a statue of Abe Lincoln
Its not a black thing but they should have changed the football team Redskins a long time ago.
Should everyone whose name is Jefferson, Washington, Grant and so on - now be forced to change their name?
So.... we have a bad product, a chemically artificial awful goo that co-opted a black woman's
image for branding. I always thought this stuff was disgusting and the branding was offensive
(and stupid--are we supposed to think this woman used to stir up batches of artificial flavors
and high fructose corn syrup?).
Good they are cleaning it up.
And now some right wing nutjobs are trying to make noise that chemical syrup and racist images is somehow precious art and culture and our past or some nonsense?
And if you are trying to joke about X lives matter or A.J. is a black businesswoman--not funny. Not even a little bit
Seriously DUDE! Should this be a blog?? It's seems like the initiator is making this out to be mockery based!!
Goddess.E-- sweet spots and natural flavors are the best.
Lickably good and makes me want breakfast to last all day!
Does this mean that Family Guy has to dub over their only black guy in the universe joke in FG Star Wars?
Aunt Jemima definitely had slave roots and is one of the first black woman millionaires maybe even billionaire, forgot where I recently read about it. Too much pussy footing and PC correctness going around these days.

Paw Patrol gone and now Aunt Jemima.
Luckily Col. Sanders is white, so I guess he's safe, at least for a while.
If the woketards can prove that his ancestors owned slaves, then he'll be gone too.
Damn, just as I predicted about Mrs. Butterworths.
Conagra Brands is rethinking its branding and packaging, in light of the Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben's changes.
And Mrs. Butterworth is white......I love this political correctness......
Schubert...you are dead wrong....he portrays a Southerner, who I am sure people will say he was a slave owner.....
Meanwhile, while guilty white liberals are fretting over Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben, YouTube is full of videos of young black people emulating the ugliest negative stereotypes about their race. But of course you won't hear them criticizing gangsta rappers because that would be RACIST!!!

Aunt Jemima was not a real person, only made up for branding and advertising.
"Colonel" Sanders was a real person but born decades after the civil war, struggling most of his life.
He was old when a friend figured out how to franchise his chicken.
In the US you do not need to be a real person to have freedom of speech or to be crazy rich but Aunt Jemima was only some weird idea of what a pancake icon might look like, played by a few models.
There was never a person and was never any millionaire.
Aunt Jemima was originally a pancake mix like Bisquick. Syrup came out in 1966.
The name was taken from a travelling minstrel show black stereotype.
Shoulda been gone long ago. Shame on the PepsiCo/Quaker Oat Company
Eh, natural progression - when I was a kid, the image was heavier and had a do rag on her head. Today's model is more acceptable to white folks.
But I guess, that's going to be gone soon - I guess some white folks don't want blacks pitching any product unless it's $300 dollar shoes.
FWIW At one time Aunt Jemima Syrup had no high fructose corn syrup and had a certain percentage of real maple syrup. But like most of our products (food and otherwise) they have gotten worse over the years.
The last time I really looked at lumber which was a number of years ago the lumber marked Construction grade would not have even qualified as Utility Grade Lumber when I was younger.
And so it goes!
Somebody better tell them foreigners cause it's still happening over there.
"Outside the United States, the character still has her original mammy personality in advertisements and she is still referred to as the Aunt."
Frankly, I prefer it to other mixes, so hope they keep it around under different branding.
I don't care if they call it Aunt Meat Curtains Pancake mix, just don't fuck with the recipe!
Who would have thought that Aunt Jemima and Uncle Ben would have both died on the same day!
Such a shame, may they rest in peace!
And I forgot to mention more sad news...Mrs. Butterworth's diagnosis is terminal, she's going to go any day now.
First the Butter girl, now Aunt Jemima..Yes the Colonel is next...They will say he looks like a
Plantation Owner..or some such bullshit..It will get nuts.

I vote Tombstone pizza should be made from real tombstones.
Fuck yeah American culture is filled with these offensive racial stereotypes that are part of the problem and need to go--all of them.
And don't be fooled--it is not big corporations getting enlightened or woke, it is the consumers--especially younger ones--who look at this branding and say WTF I'm not even buying that p[roduct or their bullshit.
The old people who fell for it for decades are reacting mixed with confusion and missing stupid things they are used to. Change is hard, even if it is good.
As usual the young folks may just save us.

Now if churches would stop making Jesus look like a white guy...
