I think it has affected your ability to think critically.
Today, about 1.6% of OC has had it, according to https://covid19-projections.com.
By October 1, the estimate will be 7.2%.
That’s a far cry from 100%, buddy.
Even though others don’t give two shits about you if they don’t socially distance or wear a mask, if you are really careful around people, spend as little time around people as possible, and actively social distance and wear a mask, you will probably not get this.

Now, the COVID forecast in Orange County does not look good. After July 1, the death rate is projected to double by September - from 7 to 14 deaths a day, on average. I wish I had more of a projection for hospitalizations, but they did reach another high today, 328. The concern is will we run out of ICU beds in September?

Death is not the only problem. Permanent loss of health is another possibility. Problems with your lungs, kidneys, heart. We don’t know how many people will have these. Why play roulette with your health if you can help it?
