Please read the ruling....they did not uphold DACA.....they said the administration did not follow proper procedures for dissolving it, so did not allow the dissolving of DACA.
The administration can come again by following administrative procedures and providing an adequate explanation for doing away with DACA....which will clearly be that immigration policy must be made by Congress and not executive order.....

You can try to spin this however you like, but this is a major smackdown for Trump.
He would be stupid to try and reissue this order in an election year, especially given the political climate.
Which means he will probably try.
And most likely, he'll probably get smacked down again in the next couple weeks when the Supremes order the release of his tax returns.

Im opposed to the Idea of executive orders that have no limit. It seems to me that the idea of such actions is antithetical to Representational Government and undermines the legislative process.
If one does believe in the idea that Executive orders are legal then one would have to believe that as easily as one President can make one armed with "A cell phone and a Pen" the next President can or should be able rescind it armed with the same tools.
If you cant support that... You are the definition of a hypocrite.

Not spinning.....the original is an Executive Order which usurped the powers of the Legislative Branch.
That is what needs to be taken to the Court. The original order was not in line nor is Trump doing away with it. Congress needs to get off their fucking asses and resolve this issue once and for all.

Is it his rhetoric? I would hope a president would be more dignified and polished... but he isn’t.
No matter what he says... his power is limited. Every President’s is. The two SCOTUS verdicts prove the system of checks and balances is working... just the way the founders designed.

For the "ingnant" amongst us. Naturalization is the sole domain of Congress. What needs to happen is Congress needs to legislate actions that would naturalize dreamers. Such an action would be soooooo divisive that they choose to maintain a status quo and have you fools argue for and against measures.
I say the above because idiots want to argue about constitutional actions AND NOT allow the Exexcutive Branch to act within their constitutional rights as precedence dictates. I loathe Executive Order... but agree that it at times is necessary. But just as the Obama Presidency made an Executive Order to allow immigrants dependents to stay and grant them special status it is not a congressional ACT therefore it is subject to Executive action of a following President AND EVERYONE should want that no matter how popular or unpopular the characters involved.
But ya know most of you want to make the rules up as you go along.

It should be legal immigration with a well defined process
And, it should let more than the million per year average that we've had
Congress is the one that's let us down
If they'd do their job
