First and foremost, if the person lies about their, that's bad. Don't do that. I happened upon an account today where the age on her profile said "22", but she looked older (I know people age differently). But then I noticed on the URL address that after her name was "74", which could allude to her year of birth.
Personally, I'd rather be with people in my age group. I find 10+ difference to be creepy.

In the Out-of-HX world, I never tell women my real age.
I get a lot of 20-somethings and 30-somethings flirting with me, and the 30-somethings always assume I'm their age.
I know it's narcissistic of me, but it always makes my day when they can't tell I'll soon be living in the Five-Oh Zip Code.
