Taping that money

The State of California is tapping into the rainy day fund to help pay for the draining funds due to the covid and economic conditions.

Pretty sure this is going to be abused.

There used to be a show years ago called “The Banana Splits”. They would show cartoons. One was the adventures of Gulliver. One of the Lilliputians was a guy named Glum.

He would always say, “it’s hopeless. We’ll never make it. We’re done for. We’re doomed.”

Mr. Sherkahn is Glum personified.

Isn't that the purpose of a rainy day fund?!?!?!?!?!......even tho the "rain" is a self-inflicted deluge of stupid.

".....Tra-la-la, la-la-la-la

One banana, two banana, three banana, four
Four bananas make a bunch and so do many more....."

Oh boy that brings back memories!

Have to agree that this is pretty average gloom for Gloom guy

I LOL'ed that anybody believes that there really is a rainy day fund when the State is almost $1 Trillion dollars behind on their Pension coverage for State employees

And, getting even more desperate, as the guy in charge says they'll use more alternative investments PLUS leverage to bump up the returns. Fucking idiot government cheese eater.......

What could go wrong with that?

These are some of the repercussions of an inept administration's handling of the pandemic.

If Kalifornia hadn't spent money on the stupid high speed train from LA to SF, we would have the cash.

How about that CA solar project (Ivanpah) waste of taxpayer money.

I could go on, but the state has plenty of money, if it didn't spend it foolishly.

Best beach in AZ? Plenty along the Colorado River.
But if you want surf, you'll have to hit the wave pool
Like in The movie North Shore...

Looking at property around the 5000ft elevation. Enjoy 4 mild seasons a year.
