Neither party gets a "WIN"....but the people lose....it is getting pretty sad how little gets accomplished in Congress. We have 435 Representatives and 100 Senators.
I tried to get more current information, but as of 2011, the aggregate STAFF salaries (not those of the Senators and Representatives) amounted to $253 million in the Senate and $413 million in the House. So we are all paying $666 million (interesting number...lol) for just the staff of a bunch of people who are getting nothing accomplished.
Each of our elected officials gets a base salary of $174,000 and it goes up due to being Speaker of the House, etc. So just multiply that number by 535 and we are spending at LEAST $93 million on them....and that doesn't include all the benefits and perks.
I know a way to save $750 million....send them all home without pay....

Obama's plan encouraged independent evaluation of police shootings...but there was NO teeth...it was a 'guideline'. Trumps plan incentivizes the forces to adhere to his program....so maybe they will actually do it...and Obama didn't endorse body cameras.....he totally missed it on that one.
Trump is not trying to erase the MAN from history...just his stupid executive orders and plans that didn't work. No body cams...really?

I don't know much about this, but it seems what Senator Scott wants are things that everyone wants. Democrats may argue it doesn't go far enough. Fine. But the Democrats don't want to give Trump the victory by signing this into law, so they aren't going to pass it and will wait to come up with their own version and campaign on that probably.

We have a covid 19 pandemic which has killed 125,000 people. Its so bad European countries are thinking about banning Americans from entering their country. Trump is constantly fucking up managing this crisis. Last week he said at his rally he wanted to slow down testing so there wouldn't be so many cases WTF. Then had an indoor rally with 6200 people who showed up. He thought it was going to be 40,000. 90% of the people weren't wearing mask. He blatantly contradicts his own administration. Infection case are now skyrocketing in red states. Texas, Arizona etc......
His totally mis management of this virus is costing Americans their lives now by the thousands.
Because of his initial mis management of the virus crisis where he said 15 cases was going to turn into zero and calling the coronavirus "The Dems new hoax". We have 30 million American still unemployed because of the forced shutdowns to stem the spread. As the country slowly reopens the unemployment numbers will go down a bit. Because of all the recent businesses that have closed we will still have a huge numbers of people unemployed for quite sometime.
Trump is an impeached President. Only the third in our nations history. Impeached for trying to blackmail Ukraine to get dirt of his Dem Challenger. You recent heard his National Security Advisor John Bolton confirm that fact from the relations in his new book. Bolton's account was in line with all of the other Trump appointed professionals that testified during the House hearings.
He is trying to get the Supreme Court to end Obama Care and take away millions of peoples health care in the middle of one of the most serious national heath crisis' in a generation. That with NO viable alternative health plan.
There are racial protest on the level of the 1960's. Trump has made no effort what so ever to bring the nation together. All he has done is a made things worst with his words and actions.
He makes bigoted statements and spouts straight out lies. The Kung Fu, told and Asian reporter to go ask Chi-na about the flu, said he has done more than any President for the black community since Lincoln etc.....
