Change the autofill to some jibberish, and manually change it each time you log in.

The autofill is an optional feature you can turn on/off somewhere in settings. Dont know exactly where but if you go into the area where you delete search history there are advanced settings for autofill of usernames...
Theres even a more dangerous feature to have your password queued up and you just hit enter.

Ok this is what I noticed. Epic being a chromium based browser is using your chrome settings for passwords. This would "I assume" hold true for any chromium based browser like The new Edge browser from MS.
When you set the auto sign in to on in any of the browsers, it is set to on in all of them.

I filled in the handle with all XXXXXXXXs and attempted to login. It saved the handle but added it to a list. Then, I got a drop down dialog with my actual handle AND the XXXXXXXX handle under it on the list. When I cleared all cookies, etc. from the browser settings, it removed the XXXXXX handle but the real handle is still there. There is no autofill dialog in Epic browser settings like regular Chrome. But, there is a password section in security. I turned all that off with no change.
Oddly, my handle doesn't actually autofill. It appears in a drop down box (now one item) below the handle field when I click into the field.
I'm not convinced the browser is doing this. I have been using Epic for this site for years and it has never done this before. Is it possible there's a hidden cookie file somewhere and that the web app is doing this?
No one else is seeing this?

Followup ....
For anyone who may be experiencing this. I uninstalled and reinstalled Epic Privacy Browser. The uninstall removed all "data" which included the saved login. After reinstalling, I made sure to turn off all options pertaining to saving user/passwords BEFORE going to any websites - especially HX. It appears to be fixed.
