I haven't burned a penny, but my street is fully lit.

There's some heavy ordinance going off not far from me.

Our niegborhood is always over the top.
Two doors down, the guy must not have read the instructions. He tried to light off some fireworks... the tube fell over and shot a fireball into the guy across the street’s bushes. LOL.... pooof... they caught on fire lol.
The most entertaining thing of the evening was when the FD arrived... hit the bushes with the hose and the force of the water broke the window đŸ˜‚

With virtually all professional displays cancelled, of course people are going to celebrate Freedom on their own. Everyone wanted to let loose for the first holiday after the shutdown.
They should just make them legal for the 4th. Think of the tax revenue that could be generated. Yeah. I know some people will say they are dangerous, etc...but not really when used properly and responsibly.
