Stanford changed it's name from the Indians to the Cardinal in the late 70's when California Indian tribes got together and asked them to. American Indian students got involved as well and then the general student body also got involved. The name was changed a couple of years later.
Let's be real, snyder isn't changing the name because of integrity but because he's losing a lot of money.
The name change is pretty obvious, although Tribes should probably be consulted first. Change the name to Washington Warriors. Might not even have to change the logo.

At one point in time, it housed so many southern students that it seceded from the Union at the start of the Civil War.

at minimum, I would hold out for the chiefs to change at the exact same time.
tell fed ex to take their 20 million bucks a year and go fuck themselves...drive the price of the franchise down and buy back minority shares at what they got in for.
