You can buy masks (e.g. on Amazon) that are designed to protect bicyclists etc. from air pollution.
So comfortable that I do wear mine while driving short distances to another public stop.
And they are way better than cloth for protecting others from you.

And this is why the US wont get back to any kind of "normal" for the rest of the year.
Me personally? I guess I'm fucked and have to think about getting with a company not associated with live events because no one in the industry has any idea when any form of Live Event will be coming back.

Many studies of different kinds show that masks are likely to be VERY effective. There are those that have shown masks can reduce most of the distance droplets travel. Then there are those that model population usage of a mask: Stutt et al. showed via modeling that even masks are only 50% effective (mechanically) at blocking droplets, if we have near 100% usage of masks, the pandemic could die out.

Wearing a mask does not cause or aggravate health problems or increase your CO2 levels. It is the responsible thing to do.
