COVID is not a joke, it is a huge scam to take away your rights. Whoever it is you know that died probably had some other underlying health condition, and they were old. I know someone who died from suicide a few months ago, should have been prevented. Forcing businesses to close and shutting down mental health facilities because they are non essential is why suicide rates have skyrocketed. That is a bigger problem than a virus that is less deadly than the flu.

So many things wrong with this.
1. You can easily get good mental health care in this day of COVID without being locked down in a mental health facility. Most people don't end up staying at facilities anyway in normal times.
Teletherapy is a worthwhile option if you are depressed right now.
2. The virus is clearly deadlier than an ordinary flu. 0.6 vs 0.1 IFR. Many more would have died if we didn't shut down. We haven't need to shut down for the flu in a very long time.
3. You don't think people would have gotten anxious and depressed if we did nothing and had many more hundreds of thousands of people drop dead from the virus and chaos at the hospitals?

Yes. Many countries have almost wiped out the virus. Even China has gone days without a case.
It’s because they took it very seriously, including the requirements of masks, physical distancing and contact tracing. It’s still not too late for us to do the same but people really have to buckle down. These countries also followed the science.

He was 80 years old. Went to the hospital showing minimal symptoms.
First week he was doing fine. 2nd week his kidney gave out and he passed due to multiple
Heart attacks. He had bad lungs due to past tumors and the covid just made everything a lot worse.

I know a 37-year old who passed recently. He was a healthy individual, was only having minor C-19 issues, but a C-19 induced clot ruptured a undiscovered brain aneurysm and did not survive.

I love it when motherfuckers feel they can go into a store loaded with other folks and not wear a mask or distance when standing in line. I admire stores that tell the idiot customer to put on a mask or dont come in...and I feel the stores who DONT enforce it are idiots for not caring for their community to allow these non-mask wearers, non-distancers to shop at their store. Just the other day I was at my local store and this idiot KEPT inching up on me...literally within arms reach. I kept inching away but there's only so much room in front of me. So I went to the front of my cart and left his ass behind my cart. STUPID MOTHERFUCKER! I dont like to make public scenes so I did what I could to keep his ass as distance from me as possible.

It amazes me that people aren't willing to wear a mask. There literally could not be a more simple, but ultimately helpful, solution. I don't like doing what people tell me to do either, but I wear my seatbelt, I stay away from pills, cocaine, meth and heroin, I wear a condom, I chew my food so I don't choke, and I look both ways before I cross the street.
If you don't care about you, wear your mask in case you're a spreader and someone else is susceptible. Save their life.
Stop with the semantics. It's not cute. There may be 500K deaths before the end of this year. Nothing in my half century has killed that many people in that short of time.

Over 20 years ago, every doc woulda told you that ulcers were caused by excess stomach acid until one guy came along and said........nope, it's heliobacter pylori that causes ulcers. The medical community ignored him for many years cause they had a consensus and anybody who thought different was an idiot.
Turned out he was right and most ulcers can be treated with an antibiotic now.
Oftentimes, science isn't so settled and best be open especially when there's conflicting evidence as there is with CV-2.
