it's all over the news
|
|
I refuse to watch the news. I watch KTLA from 5:00am to 6:00am to get the headlines.
Then I read the news throughout the day.
But today I went shooting then have been beautifying my back yard... except for that grueling 2 hr nap from 1:30 - 3:30.
|
|
So sad. All my live events peeps are shitting themselves trying to figure out what the next move is.
It is impossible to predict what the next week will bring much less the next year.
|
|
yep...been watching the ktla morning news since they started it
kind of a liberte fan on the weekend...would like to shoot some semen inside her

It is clearly wrong to make unrelated political demands like that during a crisis.

that's what I love about the current LIBS...they can't help it - -the trump effect at work...they feel they can't afford another 4 plus years of trump
the funny thing is, this little brouhaha is highlighting a big issue in education...they have a shitty record and want to have private/charter school limits?
our family is considering pvt school if there is only online. so far it's still up in the air in our city...schools are tops in the state, but online learning is horrible. it's possible it could get better after a summer of working out some kinks
I like that I can hear if the teachers want to go off script and teach about white privilege - maybe pulling up charts and graphs --

She looks like she has a boney ass.
I like Megan Telles. Henry DiCarlo makes me laugh.
I used to have a crush on Hal Fishman but then he died... so keeping that crush going was a little unrealistic and creepy.
Too bad for Chris Bouros. You would think sticking “things’ up your ass while wearing a gas mask wouldn’t kill you... but apparently that is wrong thinking.

ya...i know I need to practice my delivery...just in case, I get that chance
that site typically has the best hi-resolution pics of celebs and links to IMDB

It’s tough to see “lady professionals” when online schooling from home. Really cuts into that “free time.” That when you think about it... isn’t really that free.
|
|
MT looks good...2 out of 4 weeks she has great glow going...after giving birth - could just be the sun coming up and casting that light
ya bummer about chris...the new guy is a little goofy on the weekends
during the week...they can get really funny....lots of jokes going on between the three.

Dude liberate Chan is so nasty bro.. tries too hard to be sexy.
|
|
yep...that would totally make her nasty

Teachers should hold out until they each get a house on Carbon Beach and a Gulfstream, not the shitty little 280 that won't get you across the pond but the 750 all tricked out. Plus a winning lotto ticket every week. It's only reasonable since they gotta spend time with your snot nose little brat.

-we will go back if the police are defunded
-moratorium on private schools/bans charter schools
-Medicare for all
WTF does that have to do with COVID and getting back to in class learning? ***NOTHING***
Newsom, teachers unions and the Progressives are holding us hostage for their own selfish desires.
It's so fucked up!

Is there a document available... or a school or union official saying these things?
The right wing media can be as bad as the left. They take something a person says and make it the position of the Union. I’m not saying it’s not true. It’s just the report you linked to had no verifiable information.
ie: In this memo sent to the LAUSD from the teachers union, teachers are demanding 1,2,3,4,5 before they ware willing to return to the classroom.
Or
Joe Blow, LA Teachers Union Chief negotiator says these 4 changes must take place in order for teachers to return.
Without that kind of info... it’s just a guy saying this is what the union is saying. Anyone who has ever been involved in union negotiations knows positions of the “other” side are often wrongfully... and strategically attributed.
The reason I ask is my SO is a teacher here in CA. Her local union usually follows in lock-step with LA’s teachers union.
LA’s teachers wanted the district’s school police budget reduced... and it is being done. The Chief of LA school police Chief immediately resigned.
Our district is just arguing over what distance learning will look like.
Now... their next contract negotiation, I’m sure those things will be put in the mix... but right now (in our district) the only question being discussed is what will distance learning look like. Both for teachers and students.

Today Newsom is supposed to give a press conf on the topic of fall semester being distance or in class.
OC schools, teachers, parents seem to have agreed they want to return to school for on site learning.
We are afraid Newsom might override local agreements and mandate statewide distance learning given what we know of his love for the OC.

I'd like to add a little perspective here - since I'm involved with the governance at my alma mater.
These demands are being driven by students.
Right now college students are demanding all kinds of things that have nothing to do with their education and a lot to do with the climate of their learning environment. Institutions are making statements of solidarity knowing full well that they don't have any power to make it happen.
You have no idea how many times I've heard the phrase "our voices are being marginalized" "we aren't being heard" in the last few weeks.
Students don't have a clue about how power or governance works, that's why they're in college in the first place. They're convinced that what they don't know will hurt them.
You try telling 18 to 22 year olds to stay in their lane.
You have no idea how many times I've heard the phrase "we hear you and acknowledge your pain" in the last few weeks.
I wouldn't freek out about this.
The political talking points and gross examples have very little to do with reality.

ISOS - I told you I was lazy 😡
Spoon feed me!!
I clicked on both links. I saw their thoughts on when and how to return. They all seemed Heath & Science related... but I didn’t see defunding school police, eliminating charter schools and Medicare for all connected to the re-opening decision.
They do have those “agenda” items... but I didn’t see where they were being linked as conditions for going back to work.
I could have missed it.
|
|
haven't seen it either...just the news articles talking about it.
I was just interested in looking at the website and linked it
I am in OC btw...if they start thinking about teaching BLM or white people shit in our oc school...will have to pony up for pvt school and leave what was some of the best public schools in the state...we moved here off the sand (15yrs) to be next to these schools for the little fuckers
|
|
Your profile says Santa Ana. Santa Ana has some of the best schools in the State????
|
|
yep...that's where i live
|
|
There don't seem to be many above average schools in the Santa Ana School district and most of the above average schools appear to be Charter schools.

not sure i would stop and get gas in SA

That DiAngelo guide may be one of the most racist and misogynist books I've ever seen, it reads like a KKK pamphlet.
Just take a minute and check out the summaries, like this one:
"Summary
In this chapter, the author reviews the historical impact of white women’s tears on black people and
white men. Heartfelt emotions are important; however, when and why we cry is also political. Emotions are shaped by our biases, beliefs, and cultural frameworks, and our emotions drive behaviors that impact other people. When a white woman cries over racism, regardless of her intentions, most of the attention will immediately go to her. For people of color, white tears demonstrate a white person’s racial insulation and privilege."
Back up the truck and drop that load of bullshit off right here!

So.... ISOS... the links you provided 1. The Chart. (I’m referring to the chart, not the article commentary on the chart) 2. The book.
Are you saying those things being taught would cause you to change schools... or wouldn’t cause you to change schools.
I think the chart is wrong.... but shows white people in what I would consider a favorable light. (Based on my personal values)
The book while it may have some reasonable points or assumptions... I am guessing in order to fill it’s pages it goes way too far. I might need to read it and get its context. Maybe after I finish “A Very Punchable Face” by Colin Jost. (Which is really making me laugh)

It's clear that the virus is man made. It was introduced in China as a diversion and to cast blame upon the Chinese.
It was then spread to Europe. Then, as the new year came, it was placed aboard cruise ships, airliners, and NYC subway trains. It forced us to close the economy down in an election year.
We shut down and controlled it's spread. Then when America tried to reopen, it came roaring back with a vengeance, not following the second wave patterns of any other country in the world. It's just roaring in the US. Other countries have figured out what is happening and they have banned Americans from traveling to their countries as a result.
What is happening? I will tell you.
Any time this year before the election, if we attempt to reopen, the virus will roar back. Why????
Because the rich and powerful who created this virus, who introduced it to the world, who committed mass genocide with it, are using it as a political weapon against Donald Trump. Good economy? He gets reelected. That threatens their money and power. So wreck the economy. Anytime we attempt reopening, they will reintroduce the virus. Airplanes, handrails, elevators, subways, busses, office buildings, etc. Then, miraculously, the 2nd week of November, after the election, it will begin to fade away, and be gone by New Year's Day.
So what if we bankrupt hundreds of thousands of people? So what if we kill a million worldwide? Donald Trump will not get reelected, and the George Soros, Bill Gates, Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Vanderbilts, etc. power brokers of the world will rejoice.
The left and the Deep State Illuminati have committed mass genocide to unseat a US President. Think about that. What are they REALLY capable of next time???
|
|
And I just wanted to say something about left/right.
I am on the right. Many of you are on the left. But think about the above scenario. They don't care if you're a leftist, a marxist, a liberal, a moderate, a swing voter, a conservative, or a fascist. They don't care about us.
US!
We are in this together! Think about it. The last world wide pandemic of this magnitude was in 1918, Over 100 years ago!
You must admit that the hatred, vitriol, and coordinated non-stop attacks on Donald Trump for 4 consecutive years is unprecedented. Even the farthest left person on this board has to admit that. We have never seen anything like it! Obama, the first black President? Lots of people on the right said, "he is a socialist. I hate him. He sucks." And that was the end of it. Not so with Trump. The media has boiled the pot for 4 years!
So what are the odds, the this virus strikes us right at the beginning of the election year, and destroys the Trump economy, the one thing that will 100% get him reelected? The odds are less that 1% that this would happen. This did not happen by mistake.
Put your hatred for Trump aside for just a moment. This time they committed the genocide of a million people around the world to unseat a President...even if you hate him. What happens next time? When the powers that be want to reduce the world population? Maybe they create another virus in a lab and created the vaccine right along side of it. They vaccinate a million people of their choosing -- the rich, the powerful, probably the white only. They immunize themselves and their loved ones, then set the awful virus loose, and it kills every last one of us. A genocide of billions!
You think they wouldn't do that???
I'm no conspiracy theorist...but I believe 100% that this was set in motion on purpose. This didn't just happen by chance. There is evil in this world...and Donald Trump's nasty tweets and extramarital affairs don't even make the list in comparison.
Think about it. The truth is right in front of us!

Do you recommend any particular type of tin foil for my hat?
|
|
People please @yellowB2
TAKE YOUR MEDS.
Call me old school, but I yearn for the days when people had to physically go to a bookstore to the conspiracy and UFO section to purchase whatever Gary Allen or John Birch Society screed was available. It was probably too much work for most people, just like it's too much work setting up a Lyndon La Rouche table in front of the post office.
Now these lazy thinking 2bit hysterics can just self publish this nonsense at no cost or cut and past it across the internet.
THE INTERNET is ALL part of a vast conspiracy to EMPOWER NITWITS.
IF YOU Can't Handle this TRUTH then you're just another one of the SHEEP.

Machine:
Hey, like I said, I don't buy in to conspiracies.
But looking at the totality of the circumstances here, no matter if your are left or right, and the last time there was a virus even remotely like this...the odds are far less than one percent that is happen now, in an election year, and destroy this economy.
Call me crazy and talk about my foil hat all you like. But I believe this virus is being injected into our country...and it will begin a fade into obscurity come November, and be miraculously gone by January 2021. And back to normal for Uncle Joe Biden!
If it's May/June of next year and the virus is still going strong, I will eat crow. But the circumstances are just too peculiar to ignore. You have to at least consider the possibility. The technology exists to do this...and so do the evil people with power and money. The question is just how heartless and depraved are they really???

I thought according to Lord Trumps sermon “ this Covid virus is a Democrats Hoax” lol
|
|
I say I would
the reality is, changing shit is much more a pain in the ass...cost money and time. if school is done online we need to make some changes and that would suck
might just bitch a little

Fuck if I know, KS........but it sounds racist to me
That whole book is just a black snowflake instead of a white snowflake.
I guess it's good to know "those" people got the same issues as "them" other people.
Damn, i'm going back to bed, my head hurts
