Who else can't wait for this elections debates? The 2016 debates weren't bad but this one is going to be amazing given Trump is going up against Biden! I'll admit I'm heavily disappointed in the Democratic party for choosing such an incompetent candidate given they had better options to choose from. Anyone who's watched him talk can tell he's not all there yet they're voting for him anyways. Glad to see not all Democrats are far leftists and that some are even voting Republican and now identifying as conservative having realized how far the left has gone.
Nonetheless super excited for the debates and how Biden and left will try to find a way to get out of them so they don't look like the idiots they are.
If Biden throws a punch, will the Secret Service intervene? After a slew of them got SARS-COV-II, probably not. I'm pretty certain that Biden would simply destroy Trump in an fight.
On a more serious note, if you father or mother, grandfather or grandmother said that they would inject themselves with a disinfectant if they got COVID-19 you probably would think they were going nuts. If their response to your concern was, "Person, Woman, Man, Camera" you would be calling up your siblings to commit him/her.
As per George Will, let's put an end to the gangster regime.
NO! Biden is the nominee because he stands the best chance of defeating Trump. All the Democrats care about is winning the WH and Senate in 2020. Pools seem to support that position. Most Democrats, myself included, think Biden is way past his prime. But, in a country that elected the guy who brought you Trump University, had a least 4 bankruptcies, assaulted numerous woman, is a pathological liar, and insulted the miltary, Biden, at least, offers a winnable, normal option. .
I meant polls, not pools.
Spend like there is no tomorrow. Really? The Republicans has spent 3 trillion, which will be 4 trillion, in the last 4-months.
Biden does pretty well in debates against one other opponent. I think he debated both Paul Ryan and Bernie Sanders well. I think he will beat Trump in substance because substance isn’t Trump’s game. It may not matter though. Trump may try to rattle him. That would be his best chance of beating Biden.
Biden needs to debate Trump to erase doubts about how sharp he is IMO.
neither of them is all there. But old white people vote for old people so this is what we get. There needs to be an age restriction, a stringent psych eval, a stringent congnitive abilities exam, an extensive criminal background and financial investigation, and then a direct vote instead of and electoral college vote. Why we stil use a vestige of history that allowed whites supremacists to cheat at elections is anyone's guess. Oh, I know, white democrats are just as bad as repugnicunts.
This one will go down in history regardless "Shit Show 2020". There will be so many Topics to go over and debate that I don't think Biden will be able to hang.Mite need flash cards.lol Trump on the other hand has his HOT Press Secretary Kayleigh in his corner. Definetly be entertaining..
Watching Trump and Biden in a debate with be just as sad as two retards in a fist fight. Yeah... it’ll be entertaining to watch but in the end we will feel like shit for not stopping retards fighting.
If I were Trump I would totally interrupt Biden all the time to throw him off his game. No doubt he will be given the questions and rehearse like Hillary. Gotta ask Biden off the script questions. It's pretty clear most of the establishment is against the outsider and they're going to be working closely to prep Biden.
As soon as Biden is inaugurated, taxes will be raised. They will say that we have to pay for all of the stimulus checks to balance the budget, and they will use the money for their socialist agenda. There will be no economic growth and we won't able to work ourselves out of our misery... then one day we will be saying how good we had it when Trump was president (except for 2020)
hoppi....yes, between the Feds and the whack jobs in Cali, we might be in for some taxation that we have never seen before. The Democrats actually believe that they will focus on the rich. However, to fund the agenda, there are not enough stupid rich people to give all of their money to the Dems. The rich have legions of tax advisers and if things get too bad, they will bail from the state or even from the country.
That leaves the middle class to pay for everything.
What planet are you on? The middle class has been disappearing since the 1980's and is basically kaput. Just look at any index of economic statistics and see where the wealth is concentrated these days.
Negative on a tax increase during Biden's one term. Just as Clinton inherited a mild recession from G.H.W.Bush and Obama inherited a severe recession from G.W. Bush, Biden is going to inherit a depression from Trump (I call it the Trump depression since if Clinton was president all you morons would be slamming her for the economic catastrophe). Nobody is going to raise taxes in a depression unless you are a freakin Republican - thank you Herbert Hoover. Instead, Biden is going to push a huge infrastructure program. Probably 2 trillion. wtf, Trump will have signed legislation that increases the debt by 5-6 trillion.
Let's take a look at the last two Democratic and Republican administrations:
Clinton was handed a mild recession from Bush Sr. and left office with a booming economy and a budget surplus. Plus he signed legislation to basically end welfare and a draconian crime bill.
Obama inherited a severe recession from Bush Jr and left a pretty solid economy and somewhat reined in the deficit (remember the sequester of 2011)
Biden will inherit the biggest economic crisis ever from Trump.
@Collosus. I wish; the libertarian party doesn't have a rats ass chance in hell. I think the planet would implode or Trump and Biden would start dating. I'm not sure what would happen.
So Quat... it seems you simply use a calendar... and not policy to determine who is responsible for “selective” economic downturns.
I guess that’s the easiest way to reach a conclusion if it’s the one you want.
Hmmmmm ... who’s policies created the Tech Bubble that burst right after Bush 43 took office. Hmmm you didn’t mention that one. You didn’t mention 9/11 and the impact it had. (Just like people will not mention Corona virus when they pin 10% unemployment on Trump.
Who’s policies created the circumstances that allowed banks to create the sub-prime loans... then bundle them... then insure them? Hint.... it wasn’t George Dubya.
43 SHOULD have had the foresight to see what a dumb idea it was to loan money to people with bad credit and little or no verifiable income.... but the gravy train was rolling and picking up steam. Everybody was fat and happy. So... he let it ride. That was his fault. But to drop the entire thing in his lap is just bias... and revisionist history.
Does anyone remember that in the late 90's computing and networking technologies would be released one month and less than a quarter later something 4 or 5 times better and faster was being released? Did you not notice the huge explosion of e-commerce?
How about Y2K forcing companies to invest hugely in new equipment?
You would have to have been an absolute buffoon not to have had a booming economy at that time. Just like you would have to be a moron to not realize after all that capital expenditure companies would of course not to spend nearly as much to stay current and it would result in a mild recession. Spare me from hearing how good Clinton was on the economy, the best thing he did about the economy was he didn't do much at all.
