I know this protest was in Kentucky not California but I wonder how many of the weapons they are carrying are illegal in Kentucky?
Whether the weapons are illegal or not can you picture the outcry if that was the KKK holding a public rally in Louisville and brandishing all of those weapons?

I’m pretty sure most... if not all of the guns were legal in Kentucky.
California has ridiculously restrictive gun laws. Criminals get whatever weapons they want. They simply bring them in from other states, While Law abiding citizens here have a narrow list to choose from.
Since ammo is in short supply everywhere... I’m sure the lady that accidentally shot those people got yelled at for wasting those bullets.

I was wondering the same thing regarding carrying firearms across state borders, considering the group is Atlanta based. Not sure if there is some type of protection for this in Kentucky law.
Yes, the irony here is just great. A month or two ago armed protesters marched around a federal building and the governors home in Michigan in response to the lockdown and were condemned as a terrible example of white nationalism, even though it was fully justified under state law.
Imagine if the NRA or KKK was responsible for nightly assaults on a federal building & the outcry that would ensue. Or if the mayor of that city enabled rioters by forcing the police to step down.
Considering west coast mayors are now siding with the Portland protesters/rioters it sure seems like this could spread to Ca in the near future.

Satire, I apologize I didn’t make it clearer.
I found it hilarious/pathetic that a militia by the name of Not Fucking Around Coalition deployed as security detail for a protest about a slain black women, who’s killing I found particularly unjustified, had 1 negligent discharge that hit 3 of its members given the history of black on black crime in this country. Thankfully no one died, and if someone did Id like to think I wouldn’t have made the post.
As I continue to see what is going on in Chicago I am genuinely confused though.
We are being told that there is a genocide against black people by the police, yet when trying to have these tough conversations we apparently need to be having in these days, it seems some topics are off the table.
So as a women of color I’d like to ask you a question.
Why do you think is it that prominent members of the black community with Chicago roots, i.e. Obamas, Oprah, Michael Jordan, Dwayne wade, Common, Terence Howard etc., aren’t speaking up about what is going on in Chicago?
How do you feel about it?
