I'll tell you where I WASN'T on Jan 6.
I wasn't overrunning barricades and assaulting officers with protest signs.
I wasn't trying to beat a cop to death on the Capitol steps with an American flag and pole.
I wasn't crushing the life out of a cop in a Capitol doorway, where I had no business being.
I wasn't spraying police officers in the face with bear spray.
I wasn't insulting black people everywhere by parading a Confederate battle flag around in the Capitol.
Q-Anon and Trump followers were doing all that, but not me. I was home. I was just watching their crazy asses.

.....i wish I remembered what it use to like to not understand politics.. only reason why I am aware of politics is because of covid. I am a moderate, and socially conservative. I value age old traditions and heritage that commemorates all of those who have served greatness across the land.. may it be Indian scouts bringing peace among tribes, settlers coming forth to the west as pioneers, the old and new inventors of great enlightenment, HarriettTubman heroic feats on bringing black lives matter to free slaves, and our own past present and future first responders and #1 Military force in the world--who serve and protect us to stay united. tho united i feel we are not in this land, and I pray, hope and fear, that a miraculous revelation will happen that will inspire us to put down the party line, and come hand to hand with 1 another. ... the best is yet to come.. and yet we may need to make even more of a mess to clean up a mess, a country, and planet.
at any rate to any Active and Inactive VETERNS I would like to say:
"WELCOME HOME, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE."
always welcome home a veteran when you see one in public, cause they may have once thought they weren't going to.

I served 7 years in uniform, and I appreciate the appreciation. 
However, let's remember that Veterans Day is for all us vets, but Memorial day is actually for the fallen - the servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice of laying down their lives while performing their duty.
For those who gave that "last full measure of devotion", may they all rest in peace, and never be forgotten.
