The dog was clearly misunderstood. The owner would have explained the dog's support for its fellow animals but, clearly, OP wanted to de-fund the badge's free speech. He clearly doesn't like 'alphas.' I'm sure a sheep would been welcomed.

sounds like the dog wont make the cut to be k-9 unit.... not every dog being trained for L.e k-9 makes the cut and quarries like these show the dog doesnt have the right inbreed genetics

Shouting match was over whether or not the girlfriend can defend her own and doesn’t need her boyfriend/(my guests) to step in for her against a fellow officer.

Oh, and the original shouting match was about being able to control your dog and not bring them to social events.
Don’t know the rules about k9 dogs outside of the Officer kennels.
