Decide which profile you want to keep. Transfer your FX points to that one. And kill off the other one.

Does the other account have any network? If so you can reach out to that network and ask them to rerate you.

Yes, most people will re rate you if they are convinced it's you!

Did you make notes on the encounter for the future to help you remember them. If you sent them a pm telling them your new profile etc. that would help. Some will, some won't. Some believe unless you see them again in person it is not verifiable. If you have access to any of the photos you used in your old account (is it still active, so they can see your photos there?) then take a similar picture with a handwritten sign with today's date so that they know the photo is current.
Even with that some will say that since time has passed that they do not know if the experience would be the same today as before. A lot will rerate you. It all depends on their criteria on what they think is safe.

So now that I was able to go back and see what you wrote, another thing you could do is send the same PM to them from each account, proving you are the same person.
