There are extremist views among both progressives and conservatives. These ideas will never make it into mainstream progressive policy, hopefully, just like extreme conservative views such as requiring separation of races or making homosexuality a crime again will not make it into conservative policy.

Harpooner, not sure about conservative views of segregation, but we do see separate race college dorms and graduations. This is driven by the progressive left. Do you agree?

Where...last I checked a gay couple can get married!!!!
Its funny...when people say there are EXTREMISTS on BOTH sides.....
I find that point to be humorous and far from the truth. Let me explain.
A Conservative person as you describe is someone who believes in the Constitution.
And in it invokes personal FREEDOMS. The right to speech publicly....the right to Assembly....the right to carry/have a gun....the right against unlawful search n seizure......etc.
Our RIGHTS come from God soooooo NO human can take them away.
So ask me if a so called Conservative moves and becomes an EXTREMIST....then what....he wants even MORE freedoms for people? He already BELIEVES that. So how can he become MORE extreme?
Answer..... he can NOT.
However the left can and does become more extreme as it relates to the Constitution.
The left believes in pseudo freedoms where our rights come from the GOV and not from God. And in being MORE extreme that leadership ultimately takes the form of a dictator. He then has the power to take and give rights based upon himself alone.

Your right to carry a gun ( and the rest of those you mentioned) comes from God ?
This is clearly the root of your problem.
I believe your violating 3 of the 10 commandments just by being here on hx and not blogging under your real name.
Maybe you should use the sabbath to lay off the blogging.

^^^^^^^^^^^^
In fact they do.........
The founding fathers understood that our rights come from God. As the Declaration of Independence proclaims, all people are created equal, “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.”
The constitutional framers recognized this important truth: if our rights are given to us by government, then government can take those rights away. In the words of John Adams, it’s because our rights are “derived from the great Legislator of the Universe” that they “cannot be repealed or restrained by human laws.”
That about sums it up....and dare I say John Adams knows a little bit more about this subject that you do......suggest retaking civics class.
PS Just enjoying my 1st Amendment right....thank you.

If conservatives "back in the day" had their way,,,
black people and white people could not marry
gay people could not marry
homosexuality would be a crime
black people could not vote
women could not vote
women could not have a credit card without the permission of a man
So please don't tell me God is on the side of conservatives. God (if she exists) does not set these rules.

"black people could not vote"
I think this is historically inaccurate. The 15th Ammendment came in 1870 under President Grant, after the end of the Civil War.
Blacks in the Democratic South were prevented from voting which was why the 15th Amendment was passed.

I am not a historian, so please correct me if I am wrong.

"women could not vote"
I believe this is incorrect as well.

Definitely Repub supported:
Between January 1918 and June 1919, the House and Senate voted on the federal amendment five times.[42][51][52] Each vote was extremely close and Southern Democrats continued to oppose giving women the vote.[51] Suffragists pressured President Wilson to call a special session of Congress and he agreed to schedule one for May 19, 1919. On May 21, 1919, the amendment passed the House 304 to 89, with 42 votes more than was necessary.[53] On June 4, 1919, it was brought before the Senate and, after Southern Democrats abandoned a filibuster,[42] 36 Republican Senators were joined by 20 Democrats to pass the amendment with 56 yeas, 25 nays, and 14 not voting. The final vote tally was:[54]
20 Democrats Yea
17 Democrats Nay
9 Democrats Not voting/abstained
36 Republicans Yea
8 Republicans Nay
5 Republicans Not voting/abstained

Jesus H fucking Christ, do your homework instead of instantly casting biased blame.

There is NO "white supremacy". There is NO "white privilege". There is, however, LOTS of leukophobia.
Women SHOULD report rapes, regardless of what anencephalic "gender studies" indoctrinators and other woketard idiots say.
When I find myself speaking up in defense of feminists, I know the world surely has gone straight to Hell.

How the fuck do you people not know that women snd blacks could not vote. And I never said Democrats or Republicans. I talked about conservatives and progressives. If you know anything about US history you know that conservatives used to compromise the Democratic Party and they now comprise the Republican Party.

Separation of church and state, when did that come along? And the biggest problem we have with history is looking back with our current knowledge. We think it's silly they thought the world was flat. You have to look at history with your mind in their time. Things change. We grow. We learn. But we shouldn't hold the past to the standards of our time.

The 15th Amendment, passed solely by Northern liberals (Republican in those days, the precursor of today’s Northern Democrats), eventually was undermined by Southern Democrats, the precursor of today’s Southern Republicans, who enacted laws that raised the barrier of voter registration (sound familiar?). Blacks and poor whites became disenfranchised by poll taxes and literacy tests (BUT BUT SHOULDNT A CITIZEN BE ABLE TO READ????). This occurred around 1900 and stayed in place until Democrats and Republicans (who came from ex-Union states, the type that are not nearly as plentiful in today’s Congress) passed the Civil Rights Act of 1965. This was opposed by Southern Dixiecrats, many who eventually moved over to the Republican Party when Nixon deployed his “Southern Strategy,” and formed the base of what is the modern Republican Party today.

Basically the author of the article was hard up to make his pay check so he decided to pick on Oxfam... Oxfam seems to be the victim here lol the motive is the bills that the pay check is gonna pay once the criminal (the author) collects.
I wonder if the author decided to do a little extra to back up this while whites women reporting such and suck with graphs or facts or if they just through together a bunch of big words with periods and commas and handed it in knowing it would be published anyway.

Whole * “whites women reporting such and such”*

Typical who what when where and why article.... I’m sure it’s 40 percent true and 60 percent heresay. Sorry but that bugs me. So I guess I got it off my chest. I’m sure people won’t agree. Or they will. Who knows. All I know is. It’s ridiculous. ... there’s too many variables that go into reporting crime in order to put a supposed fact like that into a little nutshell

This is just conservative snowflakes manufacturing controversy and crying crocodile tears. Everyone who has ever learned about this subject understands that there is intersectionality, where the privilege of one group contradicts that of another. If could very much be that white women often play damsel in distress, and at the same time rape should be taken seriously. It's called nuance, which is apparently beyond the black and white bifurcation that Neanderthals are capable of.

"Blacks in the Democratic South were prevented from voting which was why the 15th Amendment was passed."
The Southern Democrats and Dixiecrats were absorbed into the Republican Party following Nixon's Southern Strategy. After Lyndon Johnson passed Medicare, Medicaid, the Civil Rights Act and Voting Rights Act, Republicans strategized to attract all the racist voters to their side, once the minority votes were pushed to the Democrats. And so the Republican and Democratic parties essentially switched sides on social issues.
If you think the Democratic Party at the turn of the last century is the same as the Democratic Party now, wake up!

the title of the post confused me as I read the excerpt. Maybe I'm a little slow (go ahead joke at my expense XD), but how does this post warrant that title? I honestly would like to know, no BS!

Ok, so we can all agree that privileged white women are the problem, right?
They're just asking for it and rapists are being good citizens by providing cock.
Got it
