Opt out... but not for Jeapordy host.
I remember seeing Roger's set his NCAA FB most consecutive completions record in 2004 against USC at the Coliseum. The loudest, most frenzied fan game I remember.
Roger's was tearing SC's secondary apart but the Trojans still clenched the win with ole' thunder and lightning.

Its been annoying with all the articles about the Aaron Rodgers saga since neither parties have really come and said anything with the exception of President Mark Murphy saying Rodgers was "complicated" . According to reports back in May, Rodgers was offered a contract extension which he turned down. So if it isn't money, than what? Speculation is that Rodgers was upset that they drafted QB Jordan Love last year without informing him. If thats it, than what? He wants the kid traded?
At the end of the day, we really don't know what Rodgers wants. Does he want Gutekunst (the GM) fired? (doubtful since he's actually build a pretty good team). Does he want to be the guaranteed starte 4 years from now? (ridiculous). At this point, I rather just see both parties move on.

The speculation that rogers is upset because of they drafted a qb without telling him doesn't make sense.
Doesn't seem possible that he'd be afraid of this kid beating him out even if there was a qb competition for the starting spot.
Course he does seem like an arrogant prick so there's a chance that it could be that, I guess.

Rodgers = Raiders = $666 on Raiders To Win

I think the problem with the QB drafted was that rodgers felt GB was close to winning it all and they needed some help with a stud first-round player to maybe get them over the hump VS one that won't see the field...maybe a receiver?

Now THAT would make sense. Anything other reason just doesn't - he can't be afraid of the competition or losing his job to the kid, he's one of the premiere qb's in the league.
So being pissed at the fo for that is probably justified - most of their moves since they won the sb have been shit.

It does make sense that Green Bay should have drafted a wide receiver in the first round last year buuut...its very unlikely that a rookie wide receiver makes a difference in their first year especially someone who's drafted late in the first round (at the point where GB was drafting, 5 wide receivers had already been drafted and I'm not sure Tee Higgins and Michael Pittman, who were the next wide recievers drafted was the answer).
The irony is if Green Bay had an ideal that Rodgers was going to hold out this year so they drafted Jordan Love as a contingency plan.

Aaron Rodgers need to do what tom Brady did, go to another team and take that team to the
SUPER BOWL
to show how much of a BAD ASS he is
|
|
regardless of the position picked...he felt they were close to getting over the hump and that QB pick was a backward move in his mind...in the backnine of his career
ceedee went 17
they coulda traded up or went defense

^ Don't know if he can do that. He didn't get it done last year when they played tb.

+1 Insearch - yeah, on the Packers subreddit, that's pretty much the sentiment. Had they traded for a great CB then Brady might have had a tougher time stringing together touchdowns.
GB fan sentiment is that there really is not much wrong with the offense. Rather, the defense has been losing the big games. CB Kevin King allowed 5 of 8 completions and two touchdowns. The other CB, the top-rated Jaire Alexander, allowed 0 completions on 4 attempts and of course no touchdowns. King was Brady's play-toy.

his third down play at end of TB game reminded me of 6'10 ben simmons not dunking ball on 6foot guard who got out of the way
it's a late game brain fart...those are winners/losers plays...rodgers has always made the winning play...so that was very uncharacteristic...at least he made em against the cowboys (fucker)
