Im not a rapper, but "copied" is a heavy word man. a more neutral term would be, influenced. she may have influenced many. that is good. across the board, my viewpoint is, that there is in a vast ocean full of artists. many will come up with similar or very similar content. using samples, wanting to "sound like, so & so", is ok, as long as the artist(s)/group, wants to put there own spice on it. like using same beats, but different equipment/plugins, or other adjustments... then ofcourse there is parodies. lol. at the end of the day, I appreciate all artists that have created content and properly procured it. ofcourse, lyrically speaking there are definite boundaries, & im not talking about cuss words n shit.. for example,, 2 Short, 2 Live Crew, LeTigre & Bunnie , etc, have "explicit" content, which I fuckin dig. tho, some artist(s)/groups , who's names will go unmentioned, talk about raping girls n shit & not giving a fuck about hurting someone physically without good reason... shit like, that,, to me, violence can get very out of hand and i have witnessed lost lives in the midst of such precarious adventures. so, yea, lyrics create a web of defining lines/catagories...
