As President.....
1.All student loans and the infrastructure would be eliminated.
Why...that is what is causing tuition to increase in double digits each year.
Colleges say if people are going to get student loans....from Feds....then we can increase tuition even higher.
The Feds are backstopping the money flow to colleges.
Also forces colleges to DIP into those trillions they have in the bank.
2. INCREASE or START trade schools.
Give them tax breaks....no money though then you end up like 4 year colleges.
Kids should NOT be spending 150,000 for a sociology degree. What VALUE in this example does it have in a Corporation?
Kids can learn a trade and make very good money.
We had them.....and then the hoopla about needing a 4 year degree and everybody bought into it.
I saw a specail CNBC did. It was questioning WHY colleges costs were going up soo much. This was about 8 years ago.
Interviewed at that time a Democrat who was running the program.....and I quote....
"I do NOT know why college costs keep rising each year.....we give them more money EVERY year...."
The dummy does NOT even understand basic economics.
