Thoughts?
I think you are a whiney complainer.
Only a bit better that McDonalds
Little bit of a cult following. I don't think they are bad, but they are certainly not worth waiting in those crazy lines for. Used to do some work for them and they treat their vendors very well.
Give me a Habit Charburger anytime...

WHAAAH!!! WHAAAH!!! BOO HOO!!!
That's your opinion.
I think In N' Out (Jesus Burgers) is good.
Lmao.. I swear 3 places I refuse to eat while in Cali.. In & Out burger, Del Taco & Carl's Jr.
yes the burgers are shit but super cheap. So if youre in your 20s its great. Carls Jr also made me ill the last time I ate there. I guess I'm too old for fast food now

The venom for In-N-Out is so interesting. All they do is make burgers and make money and people are constantly compelled to call them out. If you don't like, it don't go there, I doubt it's going to effect their bottom line much.
I guess their popularity drives people nuts, you never see a Burger King call out blog. In-N-Out is like the Trump of burgers I guess, you either love or hate but you gotta make sure everyone knows where you stand.

Yeah I personally love to cook. I packed all my spices from Texas LOL. Im just not with the fast food mess either. It really sucks being in hotels at this time... I need my kitchen back ! LOL

Don't care enough one way or the other to post a comment.
Oh, shit......I just did
Actually, they're pretty good.
But I haven't been eating fast shit in quite a while.

You must have brain damage.

There is an In-N-Out about a mile from me, I drive past it going to a mom and pop Korean burger joint about two miles from me. I stop at In-N-Out a couple of times a year but haven't been this year. Maybe the long lines have something to do with it and I don't care for their fries but the burger is ok.
Probably why it’s always crowded because bad burgers get all the attention.
Fast food isn't fast when the lines are that long. It is a business that is working. Somebody has to hate them.
Their genuine standard customer service is better than 98% of the fast food spots around..
Anthony Bordain loves them.
all other arguments against are moot.

its like beer and coffee, and taxicabs and online shopping.
someone went a step further and made an improved product/experience.
i like a innout from time to time but probably visit Habit more frequently.
I would rather eat In N Out over any other burger place. Prices are very reasonable and the food is freshly made and tastes like real food.
It's just you.
It’s just Perfect-Circle
I always wondered how / why the line was always so long if they only had 5 things on the menu

I think its a fairly dependable burger for dine in. you get it hot and it tastes a lot better that way. have not had to wait more than 10-15 mins.
that being said think its a totally different experience when using the drive through and eating at home. their burger and fries are a lot worse when it gets cold. flavors get muted and texture of fries and cheese quite soggy and unappetizing. I think a lot of ppl just dont care about serving temperature and food texture.

Lots of food does not 'travel' well. As stated, food temperature and condensation (causes the sogginess) can make even the best food terrible.
I think many restaurants learned some valuable lessons during the pandemic on which of their food items really work as 'to go'.
Best thing about their business model - they can't force you to buy.
Take advantage of that key feature and all will be well.
My own guilty pleasure is the Jack in the Box Sourdough Burger.
I know it's not good for me, but I just love it.
Having minorities, especially black people working at a joint like In-N-Out Burger flipping burgers, serving me, and picking up my garbage, makes me feel like a racist. I am glad they choose not to work at In-N-Out and tend to gravitate to McDonalds and the unemployment line.

Just you 😩 but lately I have taken a liking to shake shack 😋
When I get the In-and-Out urger...oh wait, that's HX!
Cheeseburger with grilled onions, extra crispy fries, half a cup of ketchup. Def an 8/10 but not the best burger to be found.
Walk in for a shorter, less-aggravating wait.

no del? sacrilege!!!

I am not hating on In n Out...the company is great and it treats the employees well...I am just saying I do not get the lines around the building for such a mediocre product...and for the record...I never use the drive thru...I think it's lazy!!!!!!!!!!
Back in the day on the way to the River the In/Out in Corona was a mandatory stop. Pull the pickups and boats into the parking lot and eat right there...We tried taking the food with us but as previously stated it did not travel well,
I agree that they don’t travel well but what fast food does. The food is better than most burgers but the long lines and limited parking usually keep me away. Shake shack burgers are my current favorites.
In and Out employees can actually 'make change' when you pay cash. I get so aggravated that people don't have a clue about taking money and making change. I don't necessarily want to have every purchase on a credit or debit card. Small things are nice for cash. But I just want to explode when my total is something like 10.26 and I give them a $20, a quarter and a penny and they want to give me back the quarter and penny, saying the $20 will cover the total....LOL.

I miss WHATABURGER
Burgers are bland. Ordinary. Boring.
Lettuce wet, not crunchy. Tomato, no taste
No bacon, no avocado... Nothing to add.
Give me a Western Bacon Cheeseburger. A Sourdough Jack with secret sauce.
A Tommy's chili cheeseburger. Even a Big Mac!
Some in-n-out's have softer fries, fluffy inside, instead of overcooked dry fries.
