There is a new NN out being built in Brea, and another one being built at the same time in Yorba Linda.
Just a few miles from each other on Imperial Blvd.
I like it, but got dam, cant we have something original?

They're not franchises, all owned by the family company.

Look, whether you like in N Out or not, if there was a line out the door or around the block for any other burger place (habit, 5Guys, whatever) most people would be like..”nah...”
The fact that there’s a line around the block and people still say “yep I’m getting in line” tells you something.
For whatever it’s worth, I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes in the longest InNOut drive through line. And I would wait longer anyway. It’s worth it. It’s good tasting fresh burgers. I still like western bacon burgers and other stuff but I feel gross after eating most fast food that isn’t In N Out.
And if you don’t like the fresh cut fries, ask for them “well done”. They’ll double fry them for you.
There is zero chance I am waiting in any of those lines for any food. I wouldn't wait in a line that long for free pussy, let alone pay for an average burger.

Gordon, that was someone who could not deal with pain.
But when he dealt with pleasure, he enjoyed the best

@ OP
Yesterday I tested your assertion that In-N-Out has the worst burger on the planet by getting a 2 cheeseburger meal at the McDonalds drive thru. After careful consideration, I have determined that you are incorrect. I expect the same results from the Wendy's square burger, the Whopper, and the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, which absolutely "doesn't belong in your face!"

^ Me too, but I stop at Del Taco for fries.

I think Tommy's Hamburgers are better than In-N-Out
Yes
^^
So go to Tommy's and get a cup of chili.
Go to Jack in the Crotch and get a Bacon burger, take out the bacon and throw the rest away.
go to In N Out for a Double Double. Add chili and bacon. And there's the best burger in the Southland.

worst burger on the planet I would say is white castle, maybe more popular in the east coast and midwest.
one might make the case that in n out is one of the most overrated burgers, and I don't fully disagree, but that's not the same as the worst. I do think the burgers are fairly solid. maybe 6/10 or 7/10 but saying it's the worst or best is being kinda dramatic.
I really dislike the whole smashburger trend but even I'm not going to say it's the worst.
Are u talking about the burger itself? Because I had a double cheeseburger from McDonald’s today and the patty itself was disgusting I would’ve rather waited in line for 3 and a half days or however long it looks like it takes to get an in n out burger lol
five guys has in n out beat on being horrible. in n out isn't great, personally I fail to see the attraction to them, or most of the so called hamburger chains
I love these In-N-Out debates. Hopefully you guys can convince more people that In-N-Out sucks so the lines get shorter and I don’t have to wait that long for my order.

Char broiled burgers just taste better compared to fried. Having said that, I would rather eat at In N Out...and thats from someone that despises companies like In N Out that put religious messaging on their containers.
The other thing about In N Out is that their burgers cost significantly less than the competition.
Five guys is arguably tastier as is Habit; but cost about double.

NNOut reached out to me about a senior IT role.
Pays north of $120k what do you think? should I take it?
Shouldn't a CCIE already be making that?
I'd hold out for a Burger Bonus.

I have been consulting for the past 10 years, but I was wondering about going back into corporate life for a while.
Heard this was supposed to be a good place to be at.

Really enjoy In-n-Out burgers. I don't eat fast food except when traveling by car, and then an In-n-Out burger is an essential part of the pleasure of car-tripping.
Of course, a Jersey Mike's Italian sub (#13) is a close second.
Not the worst, by a big margin, but overrated HELL YEAH!!!!
Now if you really want to stir up some shit talk about Whataburger. That’s was a horrible burger.

In-n-Out has been a family owned business since it’s inception. The original drive-through was in the La Puente, El Monte area. My parents had family in El Monte so I was introduced to the burgers very early in my life. The family ammo was they never built I knew in and out until the previous one was paid for. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that, the more they got paid off the more they built. So there are In-n-Outs California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and within the last couple of years Colorado. The franchise is owned by the family‘s granddaughter and she’s an only child. This makes her the most wealthiest woman in the United States. There’s talk that she is going to take the corporate offices to Colorado. I used to manage a little league team and one of the kids that I coached works for corporate. I live about 5 minutes from a five guys and about 10 minutes from an In-n-Out with a 10 to 15 minute wait through the drive-through. I’ve never gone to the 5 guys!

Gordon, you ignorant slut! Running out of blog ideas? You already asked this months ago.
if she leaves the bradshaw estates for colorado, the taxes will jump in the san gabriel valley
I believe the corporate office is next to UCI right now.
If they have plans to move to CO, then I wont work there. CO is just as expensive as CA is now.

And back on topic. Just had them for brunch. When they are fresh and we’ll made, they are stuff of legend.
When you get people who let them sit for too long, the burgers are terrible and a disappointment to what was enjoyed before.
the quality degrades notably even if it sits for another 5 mins or so.
Its solid when its piping hot and steam comes out of a 4x4 (how i order it sans sauce). problem with drive through is it may have been sitting for longer just bc there were cars in front of you. if its ‘dine in’ chances are its not sitting for more than a 2 mins or so given how fast the kitchen staff move around.
typically I avoid ordering hot soup at restaurants bc they mess up the temps. ppl dont typically think of burgers as temp sensitive food but I think it makes a difference
NNOut and Whataburger a both good if you eat it as soon as they give it to you.
If you wait around or try to take it home, forget about it.
