And yes, just because the white house flags something does not mean it has to be taken down, but do you think that these platforms wont look and everything the WH flags?
If Trump did this shit, people would be screaming from the rafters. But I guess Grandpa Joe is Ok to usher in censorship in its most direct form.

Instead of misinformation, Trump called anything he didn't agree with "fake news", so this is nothing new.

Let’s see if this survives a court challenge. In the past, the courts ruled that government cannot outsource 1st Amendment suppression to private companies, so should be interesting.

First I find it stunning that Psaki openly states the Administration is "regularly engaged" with big tech on the topic of misinformation. Admitting collusion with matters affecting free speech.
But second and worse is that the party professing to be the caretakers and referee of "misinformation" is the same people who brought you a massive web of lies for years... like Russia Collusion, stalling the Hunter laptop story/investigation...
I dont need Govt deciding what I need to know. We've seen more than enough about how gain of function research was funded by US and Fauci not being forthcoming and dodging the hard questions... Now he still talks as if we should listen to him...
NO we dont have to beleive or do anything Govt says.
Yesterday I saw info saying more people are dying from vaccine side effects than dying from COVID so go figure.

Remind us again about how Trump had his DOJ investigating political opponents and journalists? Oh wait..this came from youtube? So it must be true. And I am sure it rises to the level of Trump, sicking the power of the Federal Government and the DOJ on anyone who he didnt like.
