I fully understand free speech and government.
However, the current administration is coordinating with Facebook to "cancel' what THEY determine to be misinformation.
Of course, the fact checkers are often 'wrong', Gosh, the Wuhan Lab leak is now a viable option, where months ago that was deemed 'misinformation'.
If the government is 'intervening' and blocking of exchange of ideas on a private platform, that is violation of free speech.

The social media blocked and labeled as misinformation that the coronavirus came from a lab leak in Wuhan.
Now that has moved to the a very credible possibility, EVEN mentioned as credible by Biden.
So the "misinformation" block was WRONG. Their fact checkers got it WRONG. They fucked up.

City of Anaheim initially stated the cancellation was due to concerns for "safety" but then later submitted a revised statement by saying the following on Twitter...
"Please help us share accurate information. We uphold free speech every day in Anaheim. As a city, we enjoy the same right of free speech and can note when something doesn't align with our values. To be clear: public safety concerns are why this is not still on."
Followed by numerous Twitter posts like this...
