Its been like for the past few weekends, i figured it was jus the summer time and shit is open.
I havent seen anyone going to a rave, jus hanging for weekend or some amusement park.
Even LA and SGV is sold out

All the hotels are booked for the illegal aliens.

Hotel and motels all over the world are charging higher than before trying to make some money and make up for the losses since March 2020. be careful where you are staying these days.

i work in an industry where I work with a lot of individuals on a regular basis. I have never seen so many people go on extended (sometimes 3-4 week), multiple vacations in all my career. this is as if people were experiencing the holiday season for 2-3 months straight
do not know how the hell people are affording this but rich or poor they are frothing at the mouth to do this. real estate purchasing in the last year and a half is similar frenzy. .

The less occupancy a hotel has
The rack rate goes up
So the more rooms sold for a given day with no many rooms left percentage wise the hotel know they can ask for more.
A hotel sell out is usually due to a event or seasonal event where they know people will need rooms as well.
It is summer. Rates usually go up.
Also everything is 30% more these days with inflation prices
So a 150 room during low season now is 200 min plus the metrics of occupancy etc
I use priceline- I do express deals- I use a couple code everytime for 10 percent off
And I use my priceline credit car that gives me
5% on priceline purchases.
Also I get special rates as a priceline Cup
It helps and adds up--

its AUGUST and everybody and their mother goes on vacation and hotels are full
so guess what, its gonna be a super COVID, exspreader month
a RAVE sounds like fun lets go, everybody can get DELTA
