It’s only natural that the virus will gain mutations that make today’s vaccines obsolete. We see this in influenza. What do we do? We update the vaccines, like we do for influenza!
VAERS reports problems associated in time with vaccines. This is very different than problems CAUSED by vaccines. After reported, these problems are carefully monitored by scientists in the FDA and CDC to see if there is a real connection. So far, there have been connections made with rare blood clots in the brain in women less than 45 years of age in adenovirus vaccines, rare cases of heart inflammation in young men by mRNA vaccines, and rare instances of Guillain-Barré syndrome due to J&J vaccines. It is safe to say if you are a younger woman, consider taking only the mRNA vaccines, and if you are a young man, consider taking only one shot of the vaccine to reduce risk.

LA County Registered Electorate is approx 6.2 Million People. -- only 17% are registered Republicans. Overwhelming majority of cases are coming from lower income and inner city areas.
* Fact- only 45.6 Black/AFA are even partially vaccinated
* Fact - only 54.5% of Latins are partially vaccinated
In California
* Latins account for over 55% of the cases and 46% of Deaths - But only 38.9% of the population
* Blacks account for only 4.6% of the cases, 6.4% of Deaths and represent 6% of the population
* Whites account for 20.4% of cases, 31.4% of Deaths and represent 36.6% of the populations
So again ... why is this a Republican thing? I love all of you Diversity, Equity and Inclusion warriors who make it a daily habit of marginalizing and generalizing those who dont look or think like you.

This statement I made actually isn’t entirely correct. This is probable but not 100%, and will less likely affect protection against severe disease. And boosters would fix this.

I am taking the advice of a doctor. Namely, my brother's family doctor. He's an immunologist. He's advised my brother NOT to take the jab. The reasons: mRNA vaccines may have severe long-term autoimmune side-effects due to saturation of the body with spike proteins. Furthermore, your natural immune system is low-specificity but wide-spectrum, and thus can provide at least some protection against a broad range of infectious agents. There is a possibility that the anti-China virus vaccines may produce an immune system that is high-specificity (against said virus), but narrow-spectrum. Result: less protection against many other infectious agents.
This doctor is not affiliated with the CDC or any other government agency, nor with Big Pharma. I believe him. I do NOT believe the CDC. Their credibility is ZERO as far as I'm concerned.
When these vaccines are PROVEN safe, I will reconsider.

I have 3 masters all in engineering and have worked as a research assistant. I also regularly attend conferences and symposiums dealing with subjects I'm interested in such as string theory, quantum mechanics, fractal geometry etc.
I'm NOT a repub, dem, far right or far left.
I'm NOT an 'anti vaxer' I AM anti covid vax, at least until there is more evidence that they're safe - there isn't and data that shows there may be significant risk from using them is being censored.
Also being censored is any data on alternative treatments from repurposed drugs such as Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquin that show their effectiveness against covid or treatments developed by doctors that support a persons natural immune system that have also been shown to be effective.
The only reasonable conclusion for this is that if data were to show that these alternative treatments were just as if not more effective treatments all covid vaccines would lose their 'emergency use authorization' leading to phizer, moderna etc losing billions of dollars.
I have talked to a few doctors before making the decision not to take the vax most of them opted out of taking the vax, my own personal doctor who I've been seeing for over 20 years opted out as well, some citing it's because the mRNA platform is a very new technology and expect some 'glitches' before it's perfected, about 4 years since invention/discovery, others because the vax's do NOT remain localized as vaccines are supposed to do, but travel throughout the body and because the spike proteins they produce are toxic. They ALL are concerned about the tests and trials that the production of the vaxs' skipped in their rush to get to the market - some of those last several years in the search for harmful side effects.
None of them are associated with the any government agency - cdc etc.
I no longer have any faith in fda, nih, niaih or the cdc. Who have become nothing but an arm of big pharma and seem to have abrogated their main function of keeping the public safe and healthy.

I don't know whether or not your claiming you are have three masters in engineering is true or not, and even if you are honest, that does not make yourself an expert on medical engineering or on immunology.
Following your anti-vax statements in the past on Covid vaccines, and your tendency to grab any claims or conspiracy theories whether they derived from social media or other scientists regarding your agenda on the danger of the vaccines, makes your credibility even more less.
You claim you are an independent thinker and "Atticus Finch" of HX, and that you are not anti-vaxxer and you insist on drug treatment (you included Hydroxychloroquin, which had been already rejected by WHO and other doctors as "ineffective and may be dangerous" to covid patients last year), but your past postings were enough to prove that you are more leaned towards right, and you are not really "fair and just" Atticus Finch that you claimed yourself to be.
First of all, your conspiracy theory that covid vaccine is driving variants are flatly wrong. One of the Covid vaccines purpose is to stop the virus to mutate, the more the virus is rampant, the more space to produce another variant. UK variant and Delta variant were born on the days of almost no vaccines, remember? Mutation occurs when the virus replicates itself BY ACCIDENT.
And your insistence on the danger of mRNA vaccines and the use of drug treatment does not make any sense either especially when we all know that Johnson Johnson vaccine and Astrozeneca vaccine (though it was not emergencyt-approved in the US yet) are not based on the technology. So why do you still insist on ditching all the vaccines and solely rely on drug treatments as if mRNA vaccines are the only ones that are available on the market? As Fauci said, if we have pills that resolve everything, we would have already done that, because the vaccines comes with more side effects.
As for the main reasons that the current infection is rampant is clearly caused by Republican states. As Wallensky correctly put it, this surge of infection was caused by those who are not vaccinated. Just look at the rampant infection that spread all over the US, and they are ALL red states, which have lower 30-40% vaccination rates. And the idiot governor such as DeSantis and dictator Abott still insist no mandate for masking. It is OK to insist on individual freedom, but is it still considered as freedom and if you are unknowingly or knowingly spread the virus to OTHERS, and may kill them at the end? This is getting really ridiculous argument on blasted Republican parts.

With respect to autoimmunity and mRNA vaccines (including the spike protein), the literature mostly is concerned with the effect on those who have autoimmune disease. This is the main concern; however, in safety trials of an mRNA vaccine, severe adverse events in those with autoimmune disease did not seem to exceed that of other regular vaccinations. Among a minority of scientists, there is.a continued concern for the general population, and I have a link to the most complete scientific article on this subject.
I should like to note that the same autoimmune problems, but even more so, would occur with the virus itself, as the article points out.
