Yes it is disheartening that 4 police officers have taken their lives due to the extreme violence that occurred by Trump's incitement of an insurrection. One officer testified like it was a Medieval war fighting hand to hand combat! Those that try to play it down are full of sh*t and probably could not even last 15 minutes on a train ride in NYC! STFU, if you don't have anything positive to say about those that defended our democracy on that violent day! Those that initiated it needs to be held accountable!

Conclusion #2: That the "extreme violence" occurred because Trump incited an insurrection...
Conclusion #3: That Donald Trump actually incited any insurrection at all...
Conclusion #4: That what happened on that day was even an insurrection at all...or was it more of a violent protest by the People???

I find the one real problem with the capital police is they don't face the same scrunity as a state or local police. Their only held accountable by government officials, not by public.
To be the fourth suicide since the capital seige sounds very suspicious.
Did the officers truly fear for their lives with a side arm strapped to their leg against a mob with stick and stones? Come on... What kind of trained professionals are they?

I’m fine with using lethal force on anyone who batters or assaults the police to STOP the assault. On January 6 the police were being hit with flag poles, bear spray, bicycle racks and shields. They could directly identify the individuals assaulting them, and yes they should have open fired and took those individuals out. However shooting indiscriminately into a crowd of protesters which is what you eluding to is not.
Just like you said should have been done to the Antifa and BLM rioters.......

BLM riots did something like $15 billion in damage and killed and injured many more people than 1/6/21.
1/6/21 showed what a complete failure the FBI and Capitol Police are.
Given they knew ahead of time there could be trouble

1/6 happened for a reason, on good or bad I think the largest democracy in the world needed to be rocked a little; its like an earthquake - need to take off the pressure.
I also feel that, we the people, are granted the right to attack the democracy if the democracy has been compromised from the inside.
But now we must also review what happened and apply consequences to those who may have broken our laws.
Its a shame our people have become so divided and polarized, it will take a long time to unify Americans again.
