Article was interesting but a little too "conspiracy theory" to be believable.
Vanguard Capital was founded in Pennsylvania, still there, and is owned by the people who invest in its funds.
Not exactly a transnational foreign interest.
There's lots more wrong with his thesis, and trust me

You guys keep on sounding like old neurotic women who are seemingly afraid of their own shadows. Globalism is the only way we remain competitive and opens up the reach of our economy. Nationalism is essentially isolationism, which never works.
Here’s a generalization for you: the current Republican Party appeals mostly to these certain groups:
Fundamental Christians
Rich People and Corporations
Idiots
The “idiots group” is comprised of nationalists, gun owners, white supremacists, vax deniers, and just pure morons.
For example, Republicans appeal to an individual’s right to refuse the vaccination even through they know they are risking death, and that was the messaging. Until they realized that the economy will close again because of it, then they changed and said you should get vaccinated. How do you morons reconcile that mixed messaging?
By the way, you can be a Democrat and a be a gun owner, but they are more reasonable and feel some restrictions are necessary.
Of course this is all generalizations. I assume an intelligent, reasonable Republican does exist even in this political climate. But most of them refuse to vote Republican until the Party gets its shit together.
I’m still traveling and won’t be responding. Needless to say, go fuck yourselves.

if you question any of those, you choose to believe something which is far out and typically it is because you have an opinion on that situation and mentally blocking objectivity due your biased ego.
those people should check themselves, maybe actually go visit a shrink as it is an unhealthy personality disorder.
If you’ve been wondering how the world economy has been hijacked and humanity has been kidnapped by a completely bogus narrative, look no further than this video by Dutch creator, Covid Lie.
As far as investment vehicles go, Vanguard.com has been VERY good to my portfolio. There were multiple years in a row in which some of their funds made 30-40% annually.
Vanguard changed my status from barely middle-class, hanging on with my fingernails with only a relatively modest annual income, to comfortably middle-class, secure, despite my modest professional income. The yields from these mutual funds is like having a 3rd adult in the household earning near 6 figures.
If you have a thousand dollars to spare, do it. Invest in Vanguard now. Watch it grow.
I agree with Loki, I put 3000 into Vanguard Index 500 in 2013, 2000 in 2014 & 2015 so total purchases of funds were 7000, with dividend reinvestments my asset value in that fund is now almost 29,000. I'm happy with that return.
Key is time and dividend reinvestment in no load or low load mutual funds.
I make a decent living but my retirement funds are certainly giving me options that I did not have 13 years ago, including a paid of vacation home in the Caribbean, a home in OC with plenty of appreciation and a business that has good value.
Damn happy with my financial status, even with the money I've pissed away in this hobby over the years.
Wow…you suddenly figured out that I despise stupidity and illogical thinking. Good for you, flash.
On another topic, a well known infectious disease specialist believes that all those who are unvaccinated will eventually catch the Delta variant or the next worse/deadly variant. Unfortunately, stupidity has consequences.
Wow MA, you MUST be the smartest guy in every room!
^ for everyone else reading, that was sarcasm. Arrogance mixed with Ignorance is never a good look. MA cannot see this and keeps proving it every time he posts in a blog.
If ADE becomes a reality, I pray it does not do great harm to all.
That the “vaccines” would create new strains was guaranteed. Mass use of non-sterilizing vaccines in a pandemic was known to do this. We’ve known this for 70 years.
That some strains would be more deadly was also a high likelihood. While most viruses mutate to less deadly/more infectious this couldn’t be assumed with Fauci’s Flu. It didn’t evolve naturally and retains wide evolutionary latitude.
ADE or other Disease Enhancement from the “vaccines” was also a known risk. This is why the SARS-COV-1 vaccine development was terminated and the RSV vaccine before it.
The UK data is indicative of some form of Disease Enhancement occurring. The mortality rate for new strain infection in the “fully vaccinated” is higher than that for the unvaccinated.
Gibraltar and Iceland have more than 90% vaccinations. They are seeing cases, hospitalizations and some deaths.
Israel with one of the highest vaccination rates is about to call a lockdown.
Something is going very wrong and we probably will see more of it soon. Again, I hope not.
I never claimed to be the smartest person in every room.
But if a car goes 0-60 in 3 seconds and another in 5 seconds, is it elitist to say that one is clearly faster than the other?
If you’re unvaccinated and don’t have a valid reason (allergic to the vaccine), then I’m clearly smarter than you. But so are most other vaccinated people.
If you voted from Trump a second time and believe that the 2020 was stolen from him, then your pets are likely smarter than you and you don’t even know it.
"AntiNeocons, National Alliance, White lives matter others not so much, TIFF Truth Info Freedom Fighters., Val's true love and Rock music collection's, LockeroomTalk, Soutien à la Ligue du midi., Borean Revolutionary Movement"
What a boring article and a totally untalented writer he is, probably nothing but a Russian Bot, apparently a supporter of Trump/White Supremacist/Anti-Immigration-racist, the same species as Tucker Carlson and Flash 911 himself
Speaking of systemic racism that Flash 911 tries to insinuate behind "Nation State" mythology he admires, we should take a look at the reality of the systemic racism in this video;
I mentioned that I have a relative who has treated the president of one of the most powerful medical organizations in the country and that person shapes healthcare policy in this country.
This guy told my relative the following (almost word for word):
In the United States, those who are unvaccinated for Covid-19 predominantly fall into 3 distinct groups:
1. Black people who mistrust medicine in this country because of historical wrongdoings (unconscionable experiments were performed on black Americans against their will and often without their knowledge);
2. Poor people, predominantly Hispanic, who can’t take time off to get the vaccine; if you force employers to allow their employees to get vaccinated, this group would do so willingly; and
3. Morons who don’t believe in science.
I was told that the word “moron” was literally used by this powerful healthcare professional to describe science deniers.
Why am I telling you this? Because the whole point of science is to discover the truth. And the truth is that the vaccines are safe and there is proof that they are incredibly effective in preventing serious illness and death.
We can expand this to include much of the indisputable garbage that has been spewed by the conspiracy theorists in these blogs. If there is substantial evidence that what you are arguing is simply wrong, while utilizing sources that you should have known are clearly suspect, then you’re likely a moron and you don’t even know it.

You add less than nothing to the debate
Especially when you stack posts
Flash, those companies you mention don't "own" 75% of the stock market, which by the way, is dwarfed by the debt market and the currency market......probably the real estate market too.
They hold those funds and manage them for the real owners, like those guys that just posted above.
The problem arises when you only have 2 proxy companies that tell these jokers, who by the way 85% underperform the S&P500, how to vote their shares.
Lastly, for now, viral mutations do not become more deadly, almost 100%. They become more contagious but not more deadly. Delta has or will shortly peak but don't worry, the moron called Biden set himself a stoopid goal of zero Covid deaths. That will never happen and this demented idiot is already paying the price.
Make no mistake, there will be Covid deaths for many years to come, waxing and waning just like the flu. Any of you waiting breathlessly for it to be over, please hold your breath another 15 to 20 minutes. Don't worry, coroner will mark you down as "died from Covid".
@GBD

Agreed. I tried to make that distinction in a few words.

This was more to my point. Especially in larger Corporatist Nation State discussion. There's more than a few former Blackrock execs in the current Executive Branch.
As I said earlier in another blog, I am just following the logic of your postings, and the above was my only conclusion I could draw. If you don't like my comments, stop posting nonsensical articles from unknown sources that you prefer getting your nourishment

Here we are speaking of National Sovereignty vs Globalism and the impact of large investment conglomerates and you go dropping the race card. Typical metaphor for what's wrong with the Left's policies in America. They cannot win on the war of ideas (nor even understand the topic of discussion in your case), so they scream "RACIST!"
Not that you'd ever go out for Italian or Mexican food, because "RACIST!" LOFL
GTFO Rach. If you ever had any cred on the blogs you just flushed it.
Didn't you promise not to respond to this blog MA? lol
Without going back and reading but by recollection of your comments, you and I are on different viewing ends of this discussion I believe. And really in civilized society that's ok.
I am not a global economic expert and so my views are somewhat limited. I believe in national borders, legalized migration, National Sovereignty and a nation's own identity, as in you root for your home country in the Olympics. I believe in free and fair trade agreements with no global restraints or specialized favoritism (such as giving China a pass on the Paris Climate Agreement).
I do not believe in unmitigated illegal migration (aka importing slave labor), currency manipulation to make exported goods cheaper (China and maybe one country in EU?) nor naked shorts to expand money making opportunities beyond what one nation's economic output / financial markets would support (Hedge Funds). I also do not believe in the US printing money in the name of social justice (work hard, play hard and live within your means), giving financial perks based on skin color nor asking the UN to review our racial past or future. I do still believe in Meritocracy in education, the Military and Business.
For perspective, I have worked in the food industry and helped companies utilize legal migration migrant farm workers (H-2A). I have supported three villages in the Phils and Vietnam with over 100 weekly family food boxes when everything locked down during CV19 and people could not physically get to supplies nor work to feed their families. I employ 15 families outside the United States and pay a living wage to them along with other perks, such as paying for medical emergencies (one surgery just this week). I happen to love all people and see the good in most cultures. I have great friends in vacation spots all over Mexico and still keep in touch with many friends going back 20 years from my hoops days. I also import items from China and have a very good relationship with the people I work with over there. I was just reviewing production schedules, recovery from the recent floods and their families well being this morning.
So I believe in National Sovereignty and Identity, as well as global business cooperation.
I enjoy Mexican, Italian and Chinese food and all flavors of women.
“ Didn't you promise not to respond to this blog MA? lol ”
I never promised anything to anyone about my posting in these blogs. I often announce that I can’t or won’t respond for various reasons, mostly to temper expectations that I’ll address every stupid argument that is made on here.
I’ll read through your posts later and respond to your points. However, I will say that I’m going to sound like a conspiracy theorist by saying the rise of nationalism was likely pushed upon the world lately by Putin through Russia’s cyber efforts.
You see, multiple countries working together for their common good are stronger than each country working for its own self interests. NATO was a target of Putin for the same reason. I believe that Brexit was a direct result of Putin’s meddling and has severely hurt England’s economy, which is exactly what Putin wants. Now he’s like the US to do the same thing.
"You see, multiple countries working together for their common good are stronger than each country working for its own self interests."
Ideally, but it's not nor will it ever be an ideal world as long as Homo Sapiens inhabits the planet.
Besides which, that statement isn't even true.
Any first year econ student should be able to explain "Comparative Advantage" to you.
In fact, posit that Nation States are no different than individuals, then consider that the greater good is achieved by each individual (nation state) pursuing their own self-interest. And, sometimes for defense, cooperation is preferred over competition.
That is exactly how this country was founded and how Adam Smith described it.
Frankly, I find Brexit to be a logical reaction to rule by faceless bureaucrats in Brussels.
Their swamp is no different than ours (once called "Inside the Beltway" long ago).
If you still don't understand what I meant, I will explain it for you
You said you believe in " free and fair trade agreements with no global restraints or specialized favoritism", yet you contradicted yourself when you are in favor of National Sovereignty against Globalism, how do you explain your position? Obviously after I read your cited article, you are in favor of Nationalism (what you meant was not exactly National Sovereignty, your real preference is Nationalism in the very narrower sense).
Let's examine the article you quoted (it is such a badly written article, and I had a hard time understanding his illogical logic, and that is what you have as well, and the most of Trumpturds here in HX).
@nation means extended tribe basically, people who share "the same blood by birth" (note: the author meant for homogenous blood, such as the White race)
@What actually happened is that the state was confiscated by "external groups", initially presented in the indefinite form of transnational capital. (note: the author is definitely not in favor of global economy and he believes that "external groups" using "transnational capital" are threatening "national identity of the nation-state". )
@the vibrant and diverse society resulted from the opening of the gates by the new dominant group will not be left without representation. Either locally or nationally, new populations will assert themselves and give dominance to a neighbourhood, city or region.(Note; the author not only hates global economy, he hates immigrants and other races as well, because they are the threats to National Identity).
@Reality is stubborn and facts tend to not care about people's feelings: diversity is not strength, but a major weakness for the nation state (Note: He meant exactly what I wrote above in my notes)
@By the way, culture is downstream from politics, not the other way around, and the always Marxist/globalist Hollywood elites are proof of concept. (Note: this is where the author's right wing propaganda starts. He does not believe in any culture, what he only believes in is National Identity sharing the same blood, and its authoritarian politics. I really don't know what he meant by the culture is downstream from politics, but I believe he meant that politics suppress meaningless culture in order to maintain its authority)
@replacement immigration is rapidly
becoming a problem to the society at large (huge spike in crime, poverty, etc.),and the net tax payers (guess who that is) are left holding the bag and paying for everything, not to mention that the arrivals tend to vote left in massive numbers (80%+ vote DEM), thus changing the country irreversibly (Note: this should be interpreted as what Trump advocated the last four years, as if only White race exists in this world, and )
@From that point, the national state, which has become multiculturalist, transforms itself from a shield into an adversary of the natives..(the author is totally oblivious about the facts that Native Indians are the true native to the US, not White race. In fact White race almost exterminated Native Indians. Again the author detests other cultures, other races)
Now let's see what Tucker Carlson is up to citing the article I read today at Washington Post; "Tucker Carlson's fawning new Orban interview shows the right's dream future"
@The first segment of Tucker Carlson's long-anticipated Fox News interview with Viktor Orban has now aired, and it did not disappoint: It provides a deeply unsettling glimpse into the true nature of the authoritarian nationalist future that Carlson and his fellow travelers envision for our country
@An ugly tension sits at the core of Carlson's conversation with the Hungarian leader. Carlson fawns over the "free" nature of Hungarian society -contrasting it favorably with the supposed repression of widespread anti-liberal yearnings in American society -while saying little to nothing about the autocratic nature of Orbanism
@In this lurks a sort of dream combination: ethno-nationalism secured via autocracy
@The interview's central feature is Carlson gushing over Orban's virulently anti-immigrant policies and demagoguery. Orban describes these as urgent to defending national identity, defined as his country's "population" and "culture" and "language" and "tradition" and "and," a right of defense dictated by "God" and "nature."
@Orban also castigates liberal internationalist Western leaders for wanting to intermingle "Muslim" and "Christian" communities, describing the latter as "original inhabitants." Orban declares that his country decided "not to take that risk."
@Throughout, Carlson treats this vision of national identity as fundamental to Hungary's success. He even suggests that in Hungary, people are freer than in the United States.
@"Who's freer?" Carlson asks. "If you're an American, the answer is painful to admit."
Yet, as Ishaan Tharoor notes, Carlson often has little to say about the autocratic nature of Orban's rule. Indeed, in Thursday's broadcast, he blithely dismisses international observers criticizing it as tools of U.S. and liberal internationalist hegemony.
@This tension - declaring America a less free society based on paranoid notions of sinister forces repressing antiliberal- internationalist yearnings, while embracing the autocratic nature of Orbanism - is central to grasping the Carlsonist right's true dream future.
@Though Carlson won't say it this way, autocratic rule is preferable to democracy because the former, he imagines, is the only route to the closed, ethno-nationalist, culturally reactionary society he wants for the United States. What Carlson and his ilk cannot accept, and are fighting their rearguard action against, is that open, liberal internationalist societies are and can be legitimately democratic creations.
@"If you care about Western civilization and democracy and families," Carlson declared this week from Hungary, "you should know what is happening here right now." He decried the "ferocious assault" on these things by globalist leaders, which Orban has heroically rebuffed.
@As Jonathan Chait says, what's striking is Carlson's assertion that the defense of democracy requires embracing illiberalism and autocracy. This is an open declaration of an actual vision of what American self-rule should look like.
@Orban's slow destruction of democracy has been widely chronicled. See this Zack Beauchamp piece, which details how facially democratic wins have been followed by a slow autocratic capture of institutions:Today, political scientists see Hungary as a textbook example of something called "competitive authoritarianism"; a kind of autocratic system where elections happen and aren't formally rigged but are so heavily stacked in the incumbent party's favor that the people don't have real agency over who rules them.
@Orban openly declares that this illiberal, autocratic turn is not incidental, but essential, to securing the vision of national identity and self-determination he trumpets
@It's been widely observed that Carlson speaks for a much larger movement on the right that idolizes Hungary to express deep dissatisfaction with immigration, diversification and secularized multiracial democracy at home. Jeet Heer calls this "authoritarian tourism."
@Or as Anne Applebaum puts it, U.S. right-wingers yearning for an Orbanist American future are motivated by dislike of America's "racial diversity, its modern culture, its free press," while dreaming of a "white-tribalist alternative."
@Carlson recently stirred controversy by declaring that Democrats want to "replace"native U.S. citizens with "more obedient voters from the Third World."
@Carlson piously insisted this was race neutral: He merely wants to preserve democracy against "foreigners," whose presence "dilutes" the voting power of U.S. native citizens by definition. But in saying this, Carlson treated it as given that immigration undermines the integrity of our self rule.
@Yet the decision to allow in more immigrants is one that is made democratically, by our legitimately elected representatives. The decision to enlarge the polity to include outsiders, even if it changes our demographic makeup and influences future elections, is one the polity makes democratically about itself.
@The problem, then, is American multiracial democracy itself. Mythologized Orbanism, or ethno-nationalism secured via competitive authoritarianism, is producing a "freer" society -the future the Carlsonist right truly wants
Well it became a long citation, but I just want you to understand that your idea about the nationalism, anti-immigration, homogeneous identity have the same characteristics that author you cited as well as Turcker Carlson, and Victor Orban himself, and don't pretend you are naive about what Trumpism is all about
Did you lose your voice by any chance? All you Trumpurds do is to show the propaganda photos/videos based on unreality, fantasy, disinformation from obscure sources.
That is why all brain cells of you Trump-TURDS are degenerated, deteriorated and they are slipping off DAY BY DAY
