This portion of the definition seems to be totally lost on today's liberals....
They watch as people are de-platformed on social media, they encourage more government that subverts free enterprise, and they actually demand people stick a needle in their arm as mandated by Big Brother. Read your own definition.....

I am vaccinated, but it is a personal choice and not something that should be mandated by the government. Especially, since the vaccine still is under 'emergency authorization'.....not fully approved. So when you die from vaccine complications, and the government or your employer mandated it, who will be responsible?

By that logic, we should be governors on all motor vehicles that only allow them to drive 5 MPH. Or let's ban vehicles completely, since that would be for the good of society due to all the traffic deaths in the country.
Or maybe ban multi-story buildings, since construction workers fall from elevation and die.
Or let's dictate diet of all Americans to reduce obesity.

There are mandates for vaccines that have FDA approval.
Once the COVID vaccines reach FDA approval, it’s not unreasonable to expect mandates for these vaccines.

But until that happens, for the government and /or employers demanding vaccination is stepping into huge liability arena. I would love to see someone vaccinated, have horrendous side effects and die.....and the employer made them do it, but the employer did so out of pressure from the government.
Might be a $100 million changing hands.....

I actually agree that vaccines really shouldn't be mandated until they go through full FDA inspection and approval.
They need to explore ALL the data and make a reasonable conclusion based on that.

But that isn't what is happening. College students are being required to get the vaccine. Many industries are requiring vaccination as a condition of employment.

I don't think these are good analogies, because the first two would disrupt society incredibly, much more than vaccine mandates would (high cost/benefit), and obesity is not contagious.
Actually, Didn't Mayor Bloomberg try to do something like that, and no one went along with it? I don't think the same would happen with vaccine mandates.
Anyways, insurance companies do take into consideration a person's obesity.
