I think obesity gets plenty of attention by sources that matter.

Obesity has many sources, including genetic disposition and illnesses like lipedema and lymphedema.
Having help treated people for over almost a decade I have gotten better respect for those suffer from inability to control their body.
That said, you don’t catch obesity from someone not wearing a mask or someone not being sanitary.
But you can catch “stupid” if you have a pre-disposition for accepting stupidity.

Ego if you can solve obesity be my guest man. Feel free to take on McDonalds, Coca Cola and Pepsi Co. Also if you can figure out how to motivate everyone fat to get out and exercise be my guest.
Still people die from heat and stroke the most also because of genetic predisposition; no matter how fit you are if you've got risk factors you could be the most fit person on the planet and bamn, die of a stroke at the age of 40.
Go solve that.
Also while your at it; tackle Tuberculosis in poorer countries. Try to make it free and mandatory. Good luck with that. I've got a shit ton of of diseases some colleagues of mine are trying to solve I can list those if you feel like chipping in. I can promise you obesity won't help with those.

Eat right, Exercise, a dose o vaccine, don't be immuno-compromised, don't be geriatric, don't smoke (anything), don't be prone to asthma, don't read the news, don't dive to the bottom of an active nuclear waste pool (surface is ok), don't pogo stick through a field of cactus, don't roll naked through a bunch of rose bushes, don't stare at the sun, don't pour honey all over yourself and then attempt to hug a bear... and you should be ok.
