Plans to expand the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, will run $150 million over budget and run 2 years behind schedule, according to a report from the Government Accountability Office released Tuesday.
As of May 2014, construction costs have increased 24 percent from the original $625.4 million projection to $773.9 million, the report found. The project, expected to be completed by the end of this summer, now likely won't be done until July 2016.

That's the problem with democrats. They have no problem spending trillions of dollars to line the pockets of their cronies who run the military-industrial complex.

But to implement military action to achieve a stated purpose and further the national security interests of the United States of America? Leave it to a Democrat to fuck it up so badly that our enemy seizes billions of dollars of our military equipment (including aircraft), and we're setting up to airlift our embassy personnel out of country so they don't get ass raped and beheaded in the streets.

This is a follow thru on tRump's withdrawal deal, sure it could have been managed better.
If, we don't blow the Embassy up on leaving we are foolish. It will be the site of unthinkable atrocities, as well as a source of an endless parade of photo ops for the Taliban.
The days of walk quietly and carry a BIG stick are over. England, Germany, Russia have learned it and in the past 50 years we have been getting our noses bloodied. It's time for a new strategy here at home and abroad.

The Afghan war was lost long ago. We backed the Mujadeen who morphed into the Taliban. But I agree a more orderly withdrawal could have been implemented. I am not sure we will see a bloodbath or a lot of Taliban photo ops. They need to rule the country and knew this day would come

These Kabul gov't forces didn't last 1 month when Trump and Biden both thinks they got 1-2 years. Holy fuck almost every one of their officials had fled. And almost their entire military and police forces surrendered before fighting. 300k gov't forces surrendered to 70k Talibans. That make any sense to you? What does that tell you about the corruptions that went on for the past 20 years under AMERICAN RULE? Who got fat and rich? Why had 5 million of their Afghans became refugees in Pakistan? Another 1 million fled to Iran during these 20 years?
What the hell had the Americans been doing in Afghanistan for the past 20 years?
This is an epic fucking failure in everything.
And look at this, the US Embassy has 50-60 people working there as Americans. Yet Biden sent 5000 troops to evacuate the Embassy. That make any sense to you? Its not those Americans we are evacuating. Its those disguised NGOs, those 2000 so called peaceful NGO that we are evacuating. Are they really NGOs? All driving brand new cars, trucks with luxurious offices. While the rest of the Afghans starve to death. Watch the BBC interview. Its fucking ridiculous.
Americans only care about our own America's freedom and democracy. We don't care about anyone elses so long as our interest are protected. So don't ever talk about freedom and democracy to me. Indonesia basically said fuck you to us. So did Singapore and Malaysia. Vietnam is just playing both sides since they are also a communist state who will never forget about what we did in that nation. Every other ASEAN nations are on China's side. Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh are all on China's side. We are trying desperately to get India on our side but they never gave a fuck about us. They only care for themselves and don't forget they heavily rely on Russia.
Australia is shit. Its got like 20 million in population that no one gives a fuck about in Asia. South Korea lives in fear all the time from NK. Japans are just cowards that we use as a pawn. Taiwan is shit and a third of their population lean towards unification with China. Over 2 million Taiwanese actively lives and work in China.
This is fucking over for us in Asia. Its fucking laughable that we still think we are the shit over there.
