Is the Taliban known for their highly capable fixed wing and helicopter pilots? How is the Taliban's aircraft maintenance and aviation ground support division? Surely they have a shit ton of trained maintenance staff and a stockpile of parts for all of that American made machinery. I mean Hummer and APC parts aren't hard to get in Afghanistan right?
Were the Taliban short of guns? You know American MP4's and M-16 variants that use only 5.56 NATO.. that is used pretty much ONLY by America and a couple REALLY close allies? Endless supply of 5.56 in a part of the world that almost exclusively uses 7.62 Russian? And how bout the parts supply and maintenance for those finicky American weapons?
SURELY The Taliban Is going to ditch all of those rock solid indestructible AK-47's that they have been using since Russia invaded Afghanistan, that have flooded that part of the world to the point that you can practically find useable weapons and ammo laying in fields, for a questionably "superior" harder to maintain and supply weapon.

they should just lower the medicare age to a mandatory 55...make make them/job pay the going rate for the insurance...if the employees want extras...go get it.
55-65 is a healthier group of PAYERS....also will help a bit for preexisting conditions as medicare dips into lower age class
if the condition is serious enough...they could be on medicare anyway after waiting 2 years (those people that qualify for ssdi)
I know someone with that had the mack-daddy kaiser platinum plan....ended up getting medicare and signed it over to kaiser...everything stayed the same...maybe even a little better coverage

With that being said, what the fuck were students doing in a war torn country like Afghanistan? Not the kind of field trip I'd let my kid go on. No matter what kind of religious nut I might be. Even if it was a humanitarian effort. Leave that kind of stuff to others who value others more than their selves. The ones that tried and could not get safely to the airport will end up paying the ultimate price. That should fall squarely on the shoulders of who ever is running this fiasco now.

I've seen two videos the last couple of days from AFG of Blackhawks flying overhead. One had a man hung from it, sort of a warning on display, and the other was a flight over the MIL equip parade.
So not entirely disabled. Just entirely treasonous. Aid and comfort to the enemy.

While partially true ... not all equipment was not disabled and its shady to even bring that up....but it doesn't take much imagination to draw the inevitable conclusion that 1. If it's been disabled it can be fixed to work again ,and/or 2) that they could provide the weapons to a bad actor state that can reverse engineer and find vulnerabilities etc.
Had a comparable action happened at any point 8n time in our history there would be 100% outrage not the 70% we see now. But yeah ok the other team 8snt in power sooo it's a win.

THAT is all shit that was sold to the Afghan military. And I would put GOOD MONEY that those arms sales were completed before January 2021.
NOW...that being said...those desert sand Hummers with the upgraded armor... THOSE might be abandoned US military units...same thing with any MRAPS or any other shit that is still in proper US spec.

There is a HUGE difference between, arms and equipment that was left behind and not disabled by US military negligence.... and HUGE stockpiles of arms that were sold or supplied to the puppet Afghan government.......that then in turn turned them over to the fucking Taliban.
