So I was on the road today listening to John and Ken and they played a portion of Biden's press conference today - if you can call it that. It was sad listening to him trying to put words together, lots of um, eh, um.... Anyway, at the end he said 'I'm not supposed to take questions but go ahead'.
First of all, who is telling him not to take questions??? He is the fucking POTUS and he lets someone tell him when and where he can take questions???
First question started something about Afghanistan and Biden cut in saying "I'm not going to talk about Ganistan'. They played it back 3 times and that is how he pronounced it. Then he walked out and the press corps started clapping.
WTF!!! He gets a standing ovation for walking out of the conference without answering even 1 question??? I guess all of the reporters were thinking "at least he's not Trump!"
This is sad. The world's most powerful man is a senile old dude that can't make a decision and is being told when and where he can take questions. And if somehow he is made to step aside, we get Kamela. Good lord, she was out of the running for Prez before the first caucus in Iowa. She has been in hiding the last few months so she can't embarrass herself anymore before she takes over.

I noticed exactly what you wrote. Democrats self-police politicians while Republicans defend their politicians no matter what they do. Similarly, there needs to be parity between the MSM and conservative media. CNN and MSNBC are bashing Biden while Fox and OAN never criticized the buffoon of a President named Trump despite his daily barrage of missteps and stupidity.

First, the study is surprising since the more highly educated should be better equipped to make better decisions. I would have expected that those who hold PhDs in particular would want to get vaccinated more than any other group. Almost everyone I know in my personal life has PhD-level education (doctors, lawyers, college professors, etc). I know dozens of these people and I don’t know a single unvaccinated person amongst them. Many are also Republicans.
I do wonder where these people were polled in the report. Maybe many were from the South or from red states. But yes, I can’t imagine an objectively smart person making dumb choices.
Interestingly, during Conan O’Brien’s recent interview of Sean Penn on his podcast, he noted that he can’t imagine people refusing to get the vaccine,” and noted, incredulously, that “even some educated people are not getting vaccinated.” Conan is famously smart and is a Harvard grad.
Again, I can’t imagine anyone not getting vaccinated, much less someone who should be smart enough to know better.
If any of this antivaxx celebrities die of covid, their deaths would encourage even more people to get vaccinated. That may be the first bright idea I’ve heard from you, PC!
