DavisM1 - "Libtards will just keep bringing up the Vet version of this drug ignoring countless studies of how effective Ivermectin has been against Covid & all the countries using it."
Cite your sources of information. No rational person gets medical information from a random blogger.
It's hypocritical how many conservatives say they support life, yet refuse to get vaccinated and wear masks. The two things that actually save lives during this pandemic.
The conservatives oppose government mask mandates but want to impose government mandates that hold women pregnant against their will. The hypocrisy is strong with the Republicans.

@MrHorndog- Check the blogs about my post regarding Larry Elder, I cited half a dozen studies & all the countries using ivermectin. Wtf @ random blogger? What are you even talking about?

Ivermectin is enlisted in the World Health Organization’s Model List of Essential Medicines. To get the full scope of information, you will have to utilize medical journals from other nations due to suppression in US.
Ivermectin treats a multitude of conditions, has antiviral effects, and also causes immunomodulation in the host. Studies have shown its effect on inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells, as well as regulating glucose and cholesterol in animals

@HornSog-And a MASK HAS NO EFFECT ON VIRAL TRANSMISSION. That was covered in the Elder thread as well. Cot dayum you people are fukin morons.
Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis
Link 1
“The physical properties of medical and non-medical facemasks suggest that facemasks are ineffective to block viral particles due to their difference in scales [16], [17], [25]. According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasks’ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger [25]. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask [25]. In addition, the efficiency filtration rate of facemasks is poor, ranging from 0.7% in non-surgical, cotton-gauze woven mask to 26% in cotton sweeter material [2]. With respect to surgical and N95 medical facemasks, the efficiency filtration rate falls to 15% and 58%, respectively when even small gap between the mask and the face exists [25].”
“A meta-analysis among health care workers found that compared to no masks, surgical mask and N95 respirators were not effective against transmission of viral infections or influenza-like illness based on six RCTs [28]. Using separate analysis of 23 observational studies, this meta-analysis found no protective effect of medical mask or N95 respirators against SARS virus [28].
New findings reported Tuesday in a University of Louisville study challenge what has been the prevailing belief that mask mandates are necessary to slow the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus. The study notes that "80% of US states mandated masks during the COVID-19 pandemic" and while "mandates induced greater mask compliance, [they] did not predict lower growth rates when community spread was low (minima) or high (maxima)." Among other things, the study—conducted using data from the CDC covering multiple seasons—reports that "mask mandates and use are not associated with lower SARS-CoV-2 spread among US states."

AGAIN..The reason workers in a virus lab wear moon suits, go through multiple sets of sealed doors with decontamination procedures before that suit is removed and breathe pressurized outside air while inside the lab is that these are facts and said virus -- any virus -- will go right through any "mask."

“The conservatives oppose government mask mandates but want to impose government mandates that hold women pregnant against their will. The hypocrisy is strong with the Republicans.”
Here we have it folks..retard poster of the month & we are just a few days in.
Imagine holding a woman accountable for their actions & wanting to save lives, then comparing it to wearing a piece of cloth that does absolutely nothing except create more of a problem.
Libtard mental gymnastics in full effect here.
|
|
I’ll just leave this here.
Actual science.
“ For the past year and a half, scientists have said that masks reduce the spread of the virus. But it's very difficult to study how much masks help to curb transmission in the real world, where not everyone is masking, using the same quality of masks or even wearing masks properly.
Observational studies, which simply compare mask wearing behaviors to infection rates in different areas, can be muddied by so many other factors. Randomized trials — in which people are randomly assigned to receive a medical intervention or not — are the most robust form of evidence. But those are expensive and difficult to conduct, especially for a behavior like masking.
In the new study, researchers from Bangladesh and the U.S. tested the effectiveness of mask promotion and usage across 600 villages in Bangladesh. The study, which involved more than 342,000 adults, is the largest randomized trial ever conducted on mask usage, according to the Post.”

From your link..
“In the intervention group, 7.62% of people had COVID-19-like symptoms, compared with 8.62% in the control group. The researchers collected blood samples from nearly 11,000 participants, and found that the intervention reduced symptomatic COVID-19 infection by 9.3%. ”
Are you kidding me with this..?
Explain the problem with the two studies I posted.
I’ll wait...
We both know you can’t
Here..Again..May of 2020 the CDC released the results of 14 individual studies conducted by various universities and medical institutions on the effectiveness of the mask in preventing the spread or preventing contracting the influenza virus, which is 220 nm's on average. The results were all the same. Neither did the mask slow down or prevent the spread of the virus nor did it prevent or slow down the infection rate of the virus. So if the masks do nothing for the influenza virus, why would you think it is effective against a much smaller one?
CDC Volume 26, Number 5—May 2020 Nonpharmaceutical Measures for Pandemic Influenza in Nonhealthcare Settings—Personal Protective and Environmental Measures
“In our systematic review, we identified 10 RCTs that reported estimates of the effectiveness of face masks in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza virus infections in the community from literature published during 1946–July 27, 2018. In pooled analysis, we found no significant reduction in influenza transmission with the use of face masks (RR 0.78, 95% CI 0.51–1.20; I2 = 30%, p = 0.25)”
You are another one that does not understand how a mask workd..all you can do is copy & paste others work, not really understand what you are reading
In case you don’t realize (and I know you don’t) N95 HAVE MULTIPLE LAYERS WITH VENT LATTICE STRUCTURE THAT FORCES THE AIR IN BETWEEN SMALL SHEETS CAUSING THE AIR TO ZIG ZAG GOING THROUGH THE LAYERS.
Neither work. A virus is smaller than smoke and smoke passes easily through a N95 mask. It also appears that there are nano particles in many of the mouth and nose masks that look like the N95.
For legitimate viruses, the professionals wear full body suits with hands and feet tied off and have a respirator.

@sherkan-your “study” did not even test the Covid viron & it’s penetration through said mask lol.
WTF is this bullchit. Just lol

Let’s all enjoy the new Covid variant from Colombia:

Our government also tightens the screws on anyone who doesn't get vaccinated.
Get tested!
Get vaccinated!
Get your booster shot!
Yet come into the country illegally, no COVID test required. And vaccinations? No one gets one...they just turn them loose into the US, COVID positive by the thousands!
One border city announced that more than 7,000 COVID-positive migrants have been released into their community since February. The city of McAllen, Texas is located at the southern tip of the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) and is the largest city in Hidalgo County. As the epicenter of the current border crisis, the RGV has seen a 900 percent increase in the number of detainees who are testing positive for the virus. This sector accounts for 60 percent of all confirmed positive detainees in U.S. Border Patrol custody.

Yep, got a keep the Fear going and make Big money for Pfizer.
After all, they have the record amount to pay out in lost litigations.
Not to mention the record amount of new Billionaire's since Covid started.

Unless you are a professional studying variants of interest or concern, I honestly wouldn’t worry about a new variant until it shows that it could overtake current variants such as Delta.
We were concerned about Alpha with the Beta-like E484K variant, thinking it would have improved fitness (due to hypothetical immune escape capability) and overtake Alpha. That never happened.

It can’t ever happen....if viruses mutated into more deadly versions on their own, THE HUMAN RACE WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED.
|
|
Of course it could happen, through random mutation, drift, recombination, and selection.

Linked is a good primer on the evolution of virulence in viruses.

Virulence weakening and dilution is what always happens when mutations and naturally acquired herd immunity is occurring throughout the populations. Invariably mutation causes infection rate increase ( seasonality still being the biggest factor) and lethality rate decrease, henceforth it becomes ubiquitous and permanent.

Reputable study.
Conclusions:
"Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally."

DavisM1 -
If you want to try anti-parasitic drug Ivermectin, go for it. I think I'll stick to getting my medical advice from my doctor, who recommended getting vaccinated.
And Larry Elder, please, that guy is a joke.
Perfect-Circle -
You really are a fool. You don't understand the difference and hypocrisy of Republicans being upset about a government mandate, of temporarily wearing a mask and supporting a government mandate that takes a woman's choice away, so that she is being held pregnant against her will. A mandate that will impact a woman for the rest of her life.
|
|
Respectfully, the trade off leading to increased transmission and decreased virulence may not always true. It’s apparently more complex than that, believe it or not. (Please see link).
|
|
One conclusion from the new, comprehensive Bangladesh mask study is that surgical masks are superior to cloth masks at protecting against symptomatic infections, so if you still use cloth masks, you surely want to consider upgrading.
|
|
It was misleading (but good propaganda) to call that Texas bill the “heartbeat” bill:
“What we're really detecting is a grouping of cells that are initiating some electrical activity. In no way is this detecting a functional cardiovascular system or a functional heart.“
|
|
And ivermectin is safe if you follow human dosages, but the efficacy is still uncertain fir COVID, as larger studies are needed to confirm results of smaller ones that are more prone to positive results being false.
|
|
@MrHoundDog-Do you understand why Ivermectin is so effective? I posted over half a dozen studies confirming it, & over 20 countries are using it for Covid-19. That includes doubl-blind placebo studies (gold standard)..which the vaccines do not have..why aren’t you holding them to the same level of scrutiny?
|
|
@Rider-Again, your study does not show how they came about it’s effecti. Where are the physics & science of them being effective.
Again..

Religious fundis are having a hard on of epic proportions at the thought of suing anyone that wants to get that procedure done.
It's disgraceful. Just another sign that we are not as free as they would like us to believe, while this thing affects women the most its still bullshit.
|
|
@Zeros-The irony of your post is hysterical. Talks about freedom & wants to end the life of another living person. And yes, it is a person by definition.
Definition of person
1 : HUMAN, INDIVIDUAL —sometimes used in combination especially by those who prefer to avoid man in compounds applicable to both sexes
Every embryology textbook; bar none, agrees that a new human life is created at conception.

“Effects women of the most”
Oh is this the, I’m not a woman, so I don’t have a say?
Same goes for firearms I guess then huh?
Btw..I love the argument where women say that men shouldn’t have a say because they can’t get pregnant. Fine, according to Gallup Polls and Pew, 51% of women are Pro-Life and 76% of women think abortion should be illegal or restricted. That leaves 24% of women that subscribed to the “my body, my choice” way of thinking. So it’s all good with me to ask the ladies.

Sorry if it makes you mad, but consent to sex is consent to its biological repercussions.
That’s how life (literally) works
|
|
Disagree.
|
|
With what?
Are You are actually trying to pretend people don't know the consequences of sexual intercourse..
I assume the woman gave consent to the penis going into her.
I assume she understands that sperm can meet egg and create life.
|
|
@DavisM1
Mamet Principle … in order for [Darwinists, atheists, materialists, liberals etc.] to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things.
IOWs you can bring the receipts but people will not change their minds until they are forced to.
- Scamdemic
- Theraputics
- ScamVax
- Israel / Iceland / UK majority breakthrough infections
- Booster shots
- Fake Variants
- Lockdowns vs Sweden Freedom
- Inflation (10% now)
- Fed Corruption
- U$D free fall
And more.
|
|
I don't agree that you should be forced to give birth if it is a consequence of having sex.
|
|
@Rider- the moment she let the penis into her (please don’t bring up R..that accounts for less than 1% of all abortions)..she agreed to its biological repercussions.
Just like the moment you drove out of your driveway, you agree to the regulations/laws of the state while operating a vehicle.
Life has consequences. Killing another life to avoid said consequences is not the solution.
|
|
The problem is that people aren’t choosing abstinence. They are choosing to do what feels good in the moment with zero regard for the gravity of sexual intercourse and the biological consequences it is bound with.
|
|
Abortion = Murder.
The End.
